not only that but it also manages not much better perf:watt as a 980 Ti whilst it gets annihilated by the other cards 1060/1070/1080 and even the Titan x pascal regarding efficiency and the performance it delivers
 
What a mess, like DM said the £199, 480 makes it look a lot worst as they are so close together, talk about shooting yourself in the foot again and again.

I am really wondering if these RX 470's are just RX 480's that do not meet the grade, the only difference seems to be 4 compute unit lobbed off.

I'd not be surprised even if those Nitro cards are simply not failed 480 Nitro's that failed OC or something.

Something is fishy, those buying the Nitro's should try flashing the Nitro 480 BIOS to them to see if the extra cores unlock or not. ;)
 
I can only imagine these are priced like this to make the 480 look like a better buy.

These should be around £150 and AMD would be on their way to achieving what they wanted. VR for everyone using AMD.

Not at these prices.

I strongly disagree. Lisa Su has done as well as anybody possibly could have over the past couple of years. She's the best CEO AMD have had in over a decade and has made great strides towards getting AMD back on their feet despite being in charge for less than two years. Leadership isn't the issue at all. A lack of resources compared to Intel and Nvidia is. A new face in charge isn't going to put a few billion dollars into their bank account to spend on R&D.

Probably no Haribo as it would be shipped in the original larger outer cartons as most cards come boxed in 10's and they would then be placed on a Palit. Plus these customers buying such huge volumes get a better price too for buying volume.

Remember we are also Caseking UK distribution. :)
