Powercolor Devil XTX = 20 units are schedule to ship to us on 28th December, so the first 20 customers can expect these first week of January, which will then only leave around 10 pre-orders.

Hey Gibbo, my order confirmed for a sapphire MBA approx 14:19 on release day, order hasn't changed from ordered yet. Safe to say I'll more than likely in the backlog for cards, looking towards the end of January unless sapphire can ship more MBAs before then?

Happy to wait, just hoping my 1080ti holds out till then

If Sapphire cannot ship more MBA I shall be personally upgrading all customers to a Pulse XTX card from Sapphire at the cost of OcUK, so you get a FREE upgrade, only thing to consider is Pulse has 3x 8-Pin connectors instead of 2 as it has more power ability.

@Gibbo I'd pre-ordered a Red Devil 6800xt as part of the black friday deals. As it hasn't yet shipped would it be possible to upgrade it to one of the Sapphire 7900xt MBA cards and I'll pay the £300 difference. Also would this need to be paid on the same card as the original purchase or can a different one be used?

DPD failed to deliver on time (5th consecutive time over previous orders), maybe you could try get your money back on the failed next day delivery? not sure how it works on your end.

Were taking no more orders for MBA cards at present.
Powercolor are hoping to ship those in January.

No can do as they have the weather situation from last week and RM strikes means they don't have to offer any refund.

Difficult? Lol, the 4080 is a no brainer. The only exception I can think of is if you play nothing but CoD. The extra for aftermarket RDNA 3 is not worth it at all because they lose so badly to Lovelace in RT & bereft of features. I mean genuinely like years behind. So it only ever makes sense to buy AMD atm if much cheaper.

Or perhaps some people would prefer an AMD card and they are quite happy with the RT performance (which is still usable). Bereft of features in what way? For professional/CAD use sure. Only other main feature is DLSS3.

I would probably have a Nitro XTX over a 4080 to be honest…

To be fair, it sounds like they have had a pretty successful launch in terms of numbers.

My first GPU was a TNT, I love both Nvidia and ATI/AMD tbh. Both had made amazing products over the years. Part of me always likes the underdog though!

Afternoon @Gibbo I'm currently in the queue (54th) for a sapphire reference card. I see you're going to be upgraded people to the pulse which is great, I'm just a little worried it won't fit in my rig seeing as some of the other partner cards are huge . With my current position which card am I likely to get and is the pulse actually that much bigger than the reference model?

Yep DHL never came yesterday, as such your order was not allocated.
DHL are coming tomorrow to us to collect and I've changed your order to an Asrock 7900 XTX MBA, so identical card but in Asrock box, also 3yr warranty so slight bonus. Hope that is OK and apologies but our DHL collections are a bit hit and miss at moment due to how busy they are.
