I hope its a decent email and not a generic one , i need to know rough wait time and my place in the list so i can make an informed choice , lets face it 1.3k is not a small amount of money to have paid out for something you may not have for a month so a bit of extra care from customer service would be nice

The reason we are not sending the email right now is because I was up until midnight speaking to AMD USA, then up at 8am this morning speaking to Powercolor, Sapphire and all other AIB's in Far East and now working with AMD UK as we speak.
We hope that in a few hours time the relevant parties will feedback to myself and provide some realistic ETA's or potential solutions.

OcUK is AMD's no.1 UK GPU partner, the fact AMD USA reached out to me personally to congratulate our sales performance and assuring me that OcUK is at the top of their thoughts and that their UK guys will ensure OcUK and its customers are looked after, so they know the score, I have worked with AMD for over twenty years, we can be assured solutions will come.

But guys, and I don't mean to upset anyone, be realistic things do not happen out of hours, they do not happen in an instant, it does take time and that is why the email shall be sent this evening and it may not be conclusive because it can take days for companies the size of AMD and its partners to offer a solution or ETA, nothing is a five minute job like we all wish it could be.

Please stop posting order numbers as everyone is in the same situation:

Sapphire & Powercolor MBA cards we await a solution as per above, we doubt anyone will get a card before Christmas, so let me put that out there right now, so if you after a card for the holidays or have no GPU you need to be selecting another GPU now, but we do hope any solution provided to us will be a solution for this month or start of January.
Custom cards, as pointed out VERY CLEARLY in the opening post of this forum, the ETA was and always was end of January, some of you may get one sooner but again as I put in the OP, you were all warned of a long wait, so please don't be complaining, it was made crystal clear and I am pushing just has hard to get custom cards as quickly as possible as I am MBA cards.

All pre-orders will be given priority and no cards will be placed on sale until pre-orders are dealt with, I assure you this!

The Sapphire 7900 XT model is still in stock, we have around 150pc left so anyone who wants an AMD card before Christmas, buy a Sapphire 7900 XT or an Asrock 6900 XT OCF!

Well my XTX has been delayed due to an unexpected event in my area. Wouldn't of been able to use it tonight anyway so hopefully it turns up tomorrow now when I will be able to have a play with it. Be nice to replace my Red devil Vega 64 that has coil whine you can hear from the next street over.

Happening a lot with DPD recently, I suspect two reasons, extremely busy and some of the snow that has impacted certain areas can unfortunately still impact areas with no snow.

@Gibbo I know you are not doing this out of the goodness of your heart and OCUK is trying to make a profit but your commication and honesty with your customers is excemplary. No one does customer service like this other than OCUK.

I fight for my customers 24/7 if I did not need to sleep, some may not believe it but I do and I also feel no competitor even comes close to our service overall, tell me one other single company where you can talk to someone around the clock, get updates and insight to the business. We are literally unique and I will never stop fighting guys, just remember things don't happen so quick when dealing with such huge companies.

I'm running an RX580 still, I kid you not, so my upgrade is justified, plus I don't mind living off beans and toast for a while to pay for my card

RX 580 was a true fine wine card, such insane gains in performance over its lifespan.

No!
4090 is way faster! Also benefits from undervolting and still be faster and more power efficient.

So i need a GPU pre xmas as i dont have one at all , the dilema is the 4080 and the XTX feel interchangeable to me no great difference in performance at this stage in the game but my concern is will that still ring true in 1 or 2 years time.

I think i put 1300 down on the its probably for the best i just stump up another 500 notes and get the gamerock 4090 , its the only way to not end up sitting there thinking what if !

4090 is flagship, nothing from AMD will rival this in short term. Several cards in stock from all brands.
4080 is king of RT and DLS3 games, plenty of stock options.
7900 XTX rivals 4080 in some situations - No stock before Christmas
7900 XT beats 6900/6950 XT by around 25-35% and performs similar no doubt to around 3090ti performance - Sapphire 7900 XT in stock!

The above are £799 - £1999


Other options though old gen but good value for money are 6900 XT at £699 and is still a very strong performer. Especially as its an OCF so more like 6950XT performance!

So hang on, why was the Powercolour card I ordered listed as "In stock" with guaranteed next day delivery before midday (now past)?

We had 20 Powercolor cards, the demand was way to high for such limited stock and as such the stock sold out much faster than the webshop could update.

I think I will go with Amazon today since I missed out and I've seen that my order number is about 200 down from those who also were affected by unfulfilled orders.
The chances I will see the card this year or even in January are slim next to none. And Amazon's return window is extended till the 31st of January.
Gibbo said something about 6950 from ASROCK that suppose to be available, but those are out of stock as far as I can see.

It is an OCF so have tweaked GPU which means it performs around 6950 XT levels, hence good value for money.

Also, turns out my order WAS a sapphire, ordered 8 minutes after launch (tried powercolour but failed, forgot)

We had near 500 Sapphire cards, but unfortanelty they had sold out within minutes, we are working closely with AMD to secure more.

If you want a refund it is probably easier to just request by webnote as our phone lines are crazy busy right now as we took close to 1000 orders in like twenty minutes which simply meant the website could not keep up, hence our apologies.

If you want a ref card Sapphire is the best choice.

They are the cheapest over ASUS et al. Same price as powercooler but Sapphire offer a 2yr warrenty over powercoolers 1yr

Ultimately if you need one ASAP get what comes in stock first if you can wait get the Sapphire it's a no brainer. All ref cards will perform the same so don't pay a brand tax.

And I believe I'm correct in saying @Gibbo said that the Sapphire MBA cards will be the most plentiful

Yes Sapphire 7900 XT, just had a few land from local suppliers, so total in stock as of now is 210 units of the Sapphire reference MBA XT card, we can deliver before Christmas.

Is this now a fact? I though you were hoping to get some reference models in the shorter term to satisfy the overorders you took?

AMD have said even if they ship GPU's to an AIB today, for AIB to build, that it is simply not possible to get a shipment in time for Christmas.
So to set realistic expectations no more XTX will come before Christmas, simply not possible to build cards and book flights to make that happen.

Now if an AIB has some stock sat there, then maybe but it is slim to zero.

Palit have communicated no further shipments of 4090, so I doubt pre Christmas will happen.

Gainward Phantom cards are due next week, which are also £1649 but I cannot guarantee before Christmas delivery so don't shoot me, far too many factors at play, RM strikes impacting all courier, Weather conditions and the simple fact the flight might get delayed.

PNY 4090 is in stock at £1749.

Might as well buy the Gainward Phantom card, it is the same card, but a nicer looking cooler and £150 less.

Or grab a Zotac, in stock and 5yr warranty. KFA2 cards will also land before GameRock do and are £1679 and far nicer looking.

Powercolor have got 40-50 units of the 7900 XTX MBA cards arriving with us next week. They are paying the extra to ship them with UPS and hope to land them with us next Tuesday. Once they land 40-50 orders from the Powercolor back order queue will ship leaving just a handful of those orders to be fulfilled.

As such you *MIGHT* get your Powercolor 7900 XTX MBA card in time for Christmas, so do not cancel your order.
This will clear all the people who ordered a Powercolor upto 14:15 on launch day!

However, can I be cheeky and keep my reference card that's coming tomorrow until you get the nitros in stock and then kindly give it back the reference? I'm one of the people on the pre-order list 9th in the queue. It would be a perfect solution for me.

No I am afraid you cannot keep and use a card for weeks, maybe months and then just hand it back, as that is then a product we made like 5% margin on. We get it back, we b-grade it and have to sell it for like £100-200 loss, so I am afraid not. If you do not want it please return it un-open or use the card and then sell it on.
