I thought it was curious that this part has a 256-bit bus. Doesn't the 280X have a 384-bit bus? Also, 2GB?
Does this come in below the 280/280X in the AMD GPU hierarchy?

After all the fuss that was made back in the 680 vs 7970 days about 256-bit buses and 2GB ram seemed to be something AMD had moved past (I thought).

Personally not got the slightest bit of interest in Alien Isolation of Star Citizen.

The R9 ship in star citizen looks pretty neat. I have a spare never settle gold so maybe be able to get the option of these.

Star Citizen is also a PhysX/Nvidia title. Chris Roberts is doing both, not just AMD or Nvidia.

Also 285 TDP is pretty disappointing, it seems like it's ~GTX 680 performance for the same TDP. This is late 2014, not early 2012, should have a lower TDP, it's not rivaling maxwell at all, even with kepler if that according to the TDP.
 
Star citizen looks very promising, not Very good for gamers on the green side though, being amd and mantle I wonder where the resources will go for optimisations, dx or mantle I wonder.
