Intel Extreme Graphics 2 supports the latest 2D and 3D APIs, delivering real-life environment and character effects. A 256-bit internal path enables up to four textures per pixel on a single pass for super light maps, atmospheric effects, and more realistic surface details. Flexible display capabilities enhance the personal computing experience, offering significant benefits for applications requiring 32 bpp and higher display resolution.

No no no, look!

9800 GTX:
lifelike game play

Intel Extreme 2:
real-life environment and character effects.

See, the 9800 GTX only provides life-like whereas the Intel Extreme 2 provides real-life!

And and...

9800 GTX: 256-bit

Intel Extreme 2: 256-bit

There they're practically the same!

The winner? Intel Extreme 2! :D

... Okay I'll stop now. <<

Can you still change the voltage to the cores and memory on ATI cards using ati tool? If so there is a much bigger benefit to watercooling your ati gpu than your nvidia.

Wiki is your friend :D
In the past Wiki has been entirely accurate about upcoming hardware Specs.
And its a very useful place to comapre different cards!
So here you go:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compar...essing_Units#Radeon_R700_.28HD_4xxx.29_series
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_NVIDIA_Graphics_Processing_Units#GeForce_200_series

As you can see, Bandwidth, and Pixel and Texture Fillrates, are much faster on the GeForce 200 series cards.
But by looking at the 4870 Specs, we can expect the 4870x2 to be pretty awesome and closer to Nvidia's arrogant price point.

I do so hope ATi stick to their original NDA lift date so we can know one way or the other, the suspense is killing me.:D
