But these are no low end chips. Low(ish) core count yes, but performance wise you can expect even a 6 core Zen4 to be faster than most/all current gen CPUs.$300 and $450 for AMDs low end chips
Whose going to pay $300 and $450 for AMDs low end chips this time when in a few months they will probably be available for half of that since now we know for zen 3 they ripped consumers off.
As the saying goes fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.

Thats not true, it was about a year before Zen 3 got a meaningful price reduction. I know that because you spent about a year moaning about itWhose going to pay $300 and $450 for AMDs low end chips this time when in a few months they will probably be available for half of that since now we know for zen 3 they ripped consumers off.

I'm sure that had Intel not embarrassed zen 3 then we'd still be getting charged those heavy markups also bear in mind in that year we were all told Wafer, production and shipping costs all supposedly increased yet AMD have managed to cut almost 50% off the price and still make a profit so I certainly won't be fooled into paying over the odds again especially as this time it seems likely that zen 4 won't even beat ADL in MT at the $300/450 price points.Thats not true, it was about a year before Zen 3 got a meaningful price reduction. The 10700k still held a lead in MT through and the same for the 10850k which was cheaper than the 5800X at launch. The 5800X was $100 more than the 12600k and lost in everything while the 5600X was over $100 more than the 12400F so don't make out that only Intel is the bad guy.The 10700K was $80 more expensive, the 10900K was also more expensive than the 5800X, tho to a lesser extent.
Lol, why don't people just wait for the announcement at the end of the month for info about the release and other details?
AMD has not changed the date, the rumour mill has got the dates wrong!Rumour mill says Zen4 release date has changed from 15 September to 27 September which is the same day as Raptor Lake
I hope AMD isn't trying to pull an Intel switch and bait to get reviewers to release Raptor lake reviews without comparing them to Zen4 as it won't work they'd just get roasted for it
