I have to hand it to AMD / Radeon, after nearly five decades of vaguely crappy advertising they seem to have finally said to themselves, "lets go out and hire someone who knows how to do this stuff." Kudos.
I will still only buy one if it gets really good reviews though - adorable ragamuffins or not.

That is why i never buy AMD product and will not ever buy. There marketing team mocks a company ,which has 5 GPUs faster than its best card. They are mocking and trolling a company ,which nearly bankrupt them in 2014. Still AMD PR is filled with 16 years old brain child, which is why teenage group are majority of AMD fanboys.
Can't tell if you're serious?...
I am telling you the reality that AMD do not need any enemy because AMD PR and their fanboys are enough for that.

That is the thing ,which i am talking about. They do not even have card ,which can beat Pascal high end and they are talking about Volta in their AD.
I thought amd showed us vega running at faster than 60 fps at 4k resolution in starwars battlefront.
Ok they didnt say what setting were used,but i doubt they would have used anything below very high settings for the demo.
Also the drivers used were not optimised for vega.
So i would say vega can match high end pascal,and maybe beat it.
My GTX 1080 OC averages 68 fps in Doom 4K ultra.

The 4k Doom results were nothing special, Googling the newer Doom Vulcan reviews show that a stock clock 1080 hits an average of 61 & minimum of 56 at Ultra 4k and a Fury X hits 55 & 46 respectively.
Taking that into consideration makes the result on Vega not look that good, The problems all the hype where people are acting like the drivers used were totally out of whack for Vega as if there will be a massive increase once they're fine tuned, The thing is I do not think they would have shown it if the drivers were that bad, They may get a bit of an improvement but I doubt it'll be massive like some are hoping for.
If they can give us a 1080 beater that wins in DX11 titles as well as DX12 & Vulcan I'll be happy and I imagine they will too.
