Personally think the taped up Vega on show was using GDDR5/X, also think they are under contract to go with HBM too.

Imagine it's still a long way off as they haven't released any cooler shots yet like they have the last few cards-I might be totally wrong on everything but there you go.

Can't remember if I mentioned it or not - but seen a couple of people who are usually right claiming the Vega demo card was GDDR5 and being used for console/mobile(laptop) product development and only about 3/4 spec.
