Sorry can't trawl through all the pages, any new info yet?
When there is, people will be talking about it. When people are talking about something else, it is safe to say there is not much news :p

Short answer, no.

We do know however Loadsamoney has had a 1080Ti on pre order for over a month and is still waiting... :p

And according to his posts elsewhere, cancelled it and buying a TXp.

While I predict he will buy the cheapest Vega, and complain about everything until the next NV Titan card come out :p

...TWO of them to be precise! Why waste that whole CF thing? It's a treasure trove for complaining! :D

So April 11th - R5 being released. I noticed this launch day was announced by AMD and lots of sites reported on it. Do we have a 500 series launch day? I read April 18th on wccftech and videocardz, but those are quite unreliable.

Do we at least have any reliable leaks on 580 performance? (as in someone getting their hands on one and benching; showing actual clocks, etc)

Just eager to see what 580 clocks at and how it performs against the 1070. It will give some clue of what to expect for Vega...

Against a 1070? Badly I would imagine. I would think it will be slightly faster than a 480. Only so much they can can do. Vega is more interesting.

This has crossed my mind also. He does have a freesync monitor after all.

Too funny!

He's all talk! he aint buying an Nvidia card, he's got too much mileage left whining about AMD ;) Like someone else said, he will end up buying Vega and finding ways to endlessly moan about that haha

I have been noticing more and more monitors are just using the label adaptive-sync instead of freesync. Could it be Nvidia will support it soon? That's right folks, you heard it here first ;):p

I'm not sure about Nvidia support maybe it's written like that due to Intel support.

In future I'll be very wary if a monitor uses that rather than Freesync2 as it probably means it doesn't make what will be the Freesync2 standard.

Yeah, most likely that is the case. But still, ya never know :)

There are not many G-Sync monitor's out there. Like right now if you wanted 4K IPS G-Sync, there are not exactly many options. So they may finally have decided to do it. So it will be Freesync 2 vs G-Sync HDR or something.

Like everything AMD, it is taking ages; really want to see some Freesync 2 news now. 4k Freesync 2 and Vega will likely be bliss and keep me happy until OLED hits the market at a decent price point.

I think HDR sounds like an overplayed card. It's not THAT game changing. Especially for people with ips which already have good color reproduction.
Also the first wave of HDR monitors/tv's will probably have obscene prices.

Coming back to VEGA, it seems that the new polaris/ the refresh is around the corner. I'm going to presume that Vega will come out at during Computex (30 May - 3 june).

Such a long wait. :(
