AMD VEGA confirmed for 2017 H1

AMD is so far behind Nvidia that I'm afraid they will never be able to catch up to green team. They will end up offering middle segment cards etc etc.

Why? Because they skipped one year? All AMD need to do is release a high end GPU competing with Nvidia line up and they right back in the game.

Nvidia have also done this strategy in the past, you see them playing catch-up?

It isn't so much the prices which disgust me but that they've also got away with pulling all the GPUs down a tier or even more in some cases - I expected 16nm GPUs to not be cheap as its pretty costly development wise but still no reason except greed why they couldn't have produced the pathetic excuse for a Pascal Titan as the actual x80 card at around £500-600 with the rest trickling down from there.

I hear that. £1200 for a 471mm2 GPU is just depressing.

So where are they ?
id rather buy 2nd hand gtx 980 than rx480...

It makes me laugh on the one hand when most of my previous GPUs were around that 470mm2 mark (or would have been) and largely I paid less than £200 not long after release for them (not that I expect that these days).

nVidia has basically got people paying over £1000 for what is basically the GTX470 for this generation :|

1110.72 without shipping. That's a straight dollar conversion with 20% vat.

Wrong again.

This thread is laughable.

If people are going to debate something the least they can do is get the basic facts right.

The price is there for all to see on their website and has not changed since launch day.

I was not wrong. The top link was the U.S. which was $1200. Convert that and see what you get. Now that you have said it i looked again and there is a co.uk. site with the £ price which is £1099.99. Still convert the Dollar price and tell me i am wrong. My maths were fine but unlike other etailers the Nvidia price is not linked to the $. I don't see how that's laughable as you put it.

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/10series/titan-x-pascal Top link for Titan X in google.

http://www.geforce.co.uk/hardware/10series/titan-x/ Second top for Titan X

I thought it was £1200? Is it £1100 or £1150 or something precisely?

I think the figure you are looking for would be grossly overpriced.:D

The actual price is £1099

For that you get a card that has a poor cooler and is badly put together in some cases.

Who said Asian workers are more quality orientated, don't believe it. When you see how the thermal pads are fitted in some of the cards and the chewing gum material they are made from you will know it is not true about the Asian quality myth.

Stop wasting my time, you were wrong.

The price is what it is on the website and has not changed since launch day.

And you have still managed to get the uk price wrong even after visiting their website lol.

Check the links and i rest my case. Any how didn't you water cool? Sop in reality you paid around £1200 or more per card.

Seriously click the links. The top link is a .com which gives you U.S. $ or Canadian.

Now your just being a ****. 99p out which is an easy mistake. You in some kind of woman mode this morning.

Nope

I am just tried of garbage threads like this where people endlessly argue and they can not get the basics right like the actual price of something.
