AMD Vs. Nvidia Image Quality - Old man yells at cloud

Also, 8400M GS has 3 year old drivers now (so old, it is discontinued) and comparing a notebook GPU to a desktop GPU and on a 20 year old game.

4K8K uses his ****** laptops to compare them with the latest desktop CPU’s like mine. He keeps telling people that the 3600 is not good enough and you need the 3900X or 3950X. But his crappy laptop CPU is not even half the speed of mine for god sakes. How is it he manages to get by on that?
All I see is agenda agenda agenda. Not interested in the truth or actually helping people here who come and ask for advice.

He refuses to educate himself. If only he read and understood this:

Mate, I don't mind anyone showing me things and I am always open for debate and you said it earlier.... If I am wrong, I am the first to admit it but I can't take anything he says seriously now and if it wasn't so comical, I would block him. At least he has me posting a bit more regular, as I haven't been so active of late, so not all bad :D

Same here :D

Do you see how he keeps picking games from over 10 years ago and cannot pick 10 recent games and consistently show us? All he ever does is how us old stuff. What does that say?

Yep and then proceeded to use 15 year old images to bang on about his point. Lol.

Probably his system cannot handle modern games and his pocket money doesn't stretch to modern hardware.:D:p:D

(disclaimer.... This is a humorous comment and in no way factual.;))

Just out of interest what are the specs of the system you are actually using @4K8KW10

Notebook 1: Ryzen 5 2500U with Vega 8, 16 GB DDR4, 1 TB HDD SATA3, Radeon RX 560X 4GB GDDR5 + LG 24UD58-B
Notebook 2: Core 2 Duo T6600, 4 GB DDR2, 750 GB HDD SATA3, GeForce 8400M GS

Both with latest Windows 10 x64 1909 with all updates installed.

Obviously, the second notebook can't handle new games.

Also, a deeper and further research is for a long scientific article, which can be done but won't be posted here.
It would require time to be worked and done.

This is what I get for posting and not reading to the end of a thread first.

Some thing else that I haven't seen mentioned, is the PEBCAK argument for want of a better way of putting it.

OK a simple test.

Which tree looks better.

Now of course some of you wont understand what I'm talking about and some of you will think it isn't relevant. but just pick a tree and lets see what happens.

Thank you for that.

Well just took a pic from CS Source and mine looks more like the radeon pic than the geforce pic that was posted earlier...

You are lying!

:p;)

4K8K has a scientific article he will be publishing soon that will prove it!

Lol. He does not even have an SSD. Those specs make for a potato desktop rig. But he is happy to recommend with full confidence to a guy who wants a better cpu for browsing to buy a 3950X which alone is worth more than his whole laptop. Then he expects us to take him seriously. He can’t even read the Wikipedia links I show him out of kindness so he can understand more basic things, but wants to write a scientific paper.

Obviously the pink one, pointless question if you don't at least make it challenging. :D :P

It did snow at Xmas when I was a kid, before Greta Thunberg came and ruined the world.

My Titan Xp is **** as has no RTX.

The titan XP is tree 2, clearly tree 2. Tree 2 is fatter and lets be honest on release Titan XP cost a fairly fat wedge, fat tree, fat wedge. I also have no RTX as radeon 7, so i'm tree 5 or an argument could perhaps be made for 4. At this point we have established some fairly solid grounding, tree 2 (older fat wedge), tree 3 RTX, tree 5/4 = Radeon 7 (a case can also be made for other AMD cards). Tree 1 you will notice is blue and anaemic so that's intel across the board, be that their on chip offering or what their xe cards will be. IMO that's basically all the trees catered for at this point :)

@bru - Thank you for bringing something more interesting than the last 43 pages to the table :)

I want to an expert to chime in, where is 4K8KW10

I'm not entirely sure we need an expert at this point. I've done a small amount of due diligence and there doesn't appear to be (as far as I can tell) a graphics card to christmas tree cross reference guide, bible or database. At this point @b00merang69 it appears that @bru may in fact be either onto something or leading us up a garden path. Only time will tell, I for one am very excited :D
