These are gonna fly as you've got a stunning performance CPU for hardly no money. Remember these are now end of life and as such are very hard to get hold off and most places with stock are approx £200 more expensive than OcUK. :)

I think they do or did used to refund the difference if the thing you bought dropped in price within the first 30 days.
 
phew - i just got it this morning - had to run down the street barefoot to flag down the van waving the 'i knocked but you weren't in' peice of paper though :p

and it now means i'm up at 7.30 on a saturday :confused: probably 15 years since i've done that.
 
heh, I have got up and am waiting for the postie. As it is a Saturday he will probably be here at midday :rolleyes: But you can't take the risk that he may come early :D
 
are the x2 4800 still at that low price as when i go to checkout there the normal price ? as i would like to purches one today.

If you are going to announce a price deal on the forums and then change the price a day later the least you can do is either update the thread or lock it. Clicking a link that say £174.95+vat only to find it is £184.95+vat is a little misleading.

£10 is not a great deal but for the time it took to update the price change on the website, I think an accompanying update in this thread could have been done.
 
My 4400+ arrived about an hour ago. Got it straight upto FX-60 speeds, but gonna let it burn in a bit before i try go further. Very pleased with it :)

the 4800s are now showin 1-3 days

gibbo - do you know how many of these are going to be available and when, because i get paid monday and beleive me the first thing i will be doing is ordering one, just want to know how many you will be receiving so that im not going to be let down ?
 
ok... it says in stock now, i just realy hope there will be some left come monday morning, this deal is too good to be missed - considering it was like 500 about a month ago :p
