sorry to butt in. Usually X2 Processors tend to top to 2.8 on air depending on one's configuration, I acheived this on Stock HSF:

Think OCUK could hold one in stock for me for a few days ? i've got to pay £800 cash for the guarage roof to be fixed that means that i cant get any more money out the bank untill wednesday x_X i didnt realise the 4400s where at the end of their lives :(


stupid question that i cant be bothered googlwacking... what's the chache level on the AM2 X2s? is that the same as the 939 4400s and 4800s or less?

Doh all this should I buy or not whilst at the pub I thought I'd buy the bloody cpu, I goes to buy the X2 4800 and now it's out of stock. :( should have bought it Friday.

Instead waited to long :mad:

will OcUK get more of these in?

Ordered the 4800 early this morning and just in time it seems (at least I hope), as it was shown as in stock at the time and the money has exited my account. Glad I stayed up late :)
 
Just my friggin' luck. I go away for 2 weeks as soon as I come back I find this processor at 1/2 price and out of stock!

Well I'm stuck for a processor now with my sk939 board.

Well that has really got me down now. I have this half baked computer that I can't upgrade to AM2 or conroe because the new and unused parts inside it will cost to much to upgrade.

If I'd known they would be out of stock so soon I would have gone on the internet as soon as I got back from the airport and ordered one.

I'm going to be depressed for weeks now with my computer without a brain.

dont worry there'll be loads all over the place soon, when conroes get going amd will be totally stuffed.
 
yes, i really want an fx60 but they're still £600 and blown away by a £250 conroe e6600.

AMD have thought 'cripes we better flog them while we've got the chance'

conroes are the future x2s have been relegated to old tech overnight.

my guess is amd will have to keep making fx60s or something and reduce the prices significantly just to stay some where near the game.

hopefully fx60 for £230 soon. :cool:
