I ordered an X2 3800 on Thursday but not shipped yet. How comes people ordering later get an earlier dispatch? It's definmately not a credit issue because the money went out on Friday. Whatever happened to first come, first served?

The orders are picked in a first come situation but does not necessarily means it will ship first, but the good news is it will be sitting on a packers desk just waiting for them to wrap it all up.

All remaining X2 3800 orders should ship tomorrow, we have product still in stock and even more arriving.

There is plenty X2 4200 left in stock and lots more X2 4600 to fulfill most of those backorders with another load later in the week to put product back in stock.

tough choices but i think that if i do get an x2 then i would have a good/top end skt 939 system that should last me 18/24 months.

Little tip about wives get them interested buy them a PC and take them to OcUK like I do, she never bats an eyelid even when I spent over £1000 on a CPU and graphics card, she just asked why I didn't put a £1000 one in hers.

not really what we want to hear, seeing as its now taken 4 days to dispatch
why couldnt it be like dvd releases so that it arrived on the day of sale
i.e sent saturday arrive monday (i also ordered mine on friday morning and still no email saying dispatched)

Gibbo already explained that they have had much more orders than usual, it looks like they couldn't send them all out in one day (My 3800+ is also not shipped and I don't even live in the UK so it's gonna take even longer

this should be the sellers problem not ours
if the item was not in stock ok it cant be helped but if it is a staff problem it can be helped and concidering it was expected that there would be a rush of sales they should have prepared better to accomodate this rush

I agree, I am not making excuses for OcUK, I am merely explaining why the orders were sent out too late.

Hey for those who are unhappy they haven't arrived have a thought for the people who have paid double the price the week before, honestly that saying there's knowt as funny as folk certainly springs to mind, will there be any deaths or major illness's if they don't arrive on time.

no not really but I order thursday as soon as the stock showed in stock.

money has been withdrawn from my account , and still shows order not printed sent to warehouse , I even. Ive email ocuk about it and no replys to my webnotes. So I dont know if I have one put by for me or what. all I know is Im 250 quid down and no cpu and no idea when its going to arrive.

Hi guys, im thinking about getting an x2 3800 seeing as they are sooo cheap... is it really worth it tho considering I have my 146 @ 2.8? I'll be overclocking as much as i can but just cant see me hitting the same kinda clocks with the x2.

shall i or sharnt i? :confused:

Exactly the same situation mate, same chip and clocks. And i really wanna go for a 3800 but dont want to lose any performance
