I like them. But yeah if I was to do it again aid go for black or RGB fans. I had them from a previous case that didn't have a window.
I think the fans are still some of the best on the market and I would love to have Noctua fans in my system in in my phanteks elvolve x case no way to hide the brown :) but I do like your build though :)

Was looking at Ryzen chips earlier for a possible Nas build with high core count and it occurred to me that there's rather a large whole in the range when it comes to integrated graphics.

I can only get a quad core Ryzen with integrated graphics opposed to an octo core 9900 from Intel. I know these are meant to be desktop/work station chips but even when you look at TR no integrated graphics for server builds. Is TR also only intended for PC's?

Just seemed a bit of an omission from AMD on this.

This is what you need. AM4 mobo for server environment (and it even has IPMI!)

https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=X470D4U

Hopefully Supermicro will also be making good server mobo with IPMI for AM4 that can handle 16 cores...

Some Xeon from intel also does not have dedicated graphics.

Lol, someone putting a 1 star review on amazon saying that the 3900x should have been £270 as it’s the 2700X replacement. Think they’ll find that’s the 3700X. 3900 is a whole new Ryzen 9 series.

3900 is not a whole new Ryzen 9, it's just a naming scheme which legalises AMD's infinite greed.

The difference between the 2700X and 3700X is very little - somewhere around 8% in CPU-Z https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/amd-ryzen-7-3700x-ryzen-9-3900x-review,11.html and 15% in CB15 https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_ryzen_7_3700x_ryzen_9_3900x_review,9.html performance jump and it doesn't warrant to be called a replacement.

This is actually the same level generational improvement as intel's were before 2017 and the original Ryzen launch.

:D I’ve been fighting the urge to scratch the upgrade itch since 2pm last Sunday but having seen that a few people genuinely have had loads of issues I think I’ve made the right call for now.

Same here, I did the same with the first gen release too. I got my 1600x 3 or 4 months after release avoiding all the issues, I bought the 2700x on release but that was a mistake as I ended up having to replace my B350 board due to compatibility issues, I'm glad I didn't dive in straight away this time, For now I'll sit back & watch & make an educated purchase once everything's on the table & running well, It may also mean Intel's back to being an option if they get a response out in time, I was initially looking at a 12 or 16 core Ryzen but they look a bit disappointing so if we see Intel come back with a 10nm 10 core cpu range I may opt for that if its gaming prowess outshines everyone including the 9700k & 9900k/ks. My PC's main task is gaming at 3440x1440.

Noctua fans for the win my friend. With the Meshify C DG, all I can see through the window is faint lines of beige fans either side of my CPU cooler. Oh, and a red "UL" glow from my Sapphire Pulse...seriously where the **** am I supposed to put the GPU power cables when they come out the side of the card??

P.S. Yes I need to rotate my CPU fans to get rid of the cable slack, it's cos I added the low noise adapters afterwards.

this is the reason why i cant use noctua fans in my system and why i sold all my beige and browns not for performance but They really stick out in my build! PLease ignore the softtubing im having a problem with the gpu fitting block and add to buy a replacment from germany so i can put my hard tubing back in
