Only one example but it is nice to see. Hopefully this update rolls out to X370 boards too.
More examples...
Downloaded the new BIOS for the my ASUS B350-F Strix that came out beginning of this week. Has made no difference to boost speeds at all :/
I think that's just an ABB BIOS isn't it? That is if you DL'd it from official website. ABBA is the one you want for Boost speed update
I have the ABBA BIOS installed on my X570 Aorus Master. My 3900X has a slightly better boost, much improved idle behaviour and lower voltages under full load.Excellent, the gigabyte x570 Ultra has the abba bios, will be testing that tonight and seeing if the winner takes it all!
Going to have set Everything up in the bois.... Mamma mia here i go again!
Guess I'll have to take a chance, take a chance, take a chance chance, but knowing me, knowing you its the best I can do

Thank you for that, I lost hope when @Aarrgghh replied seriously without acknowledgement of my hard workYou'll be Bjorn Again
Sorry, I couldn't fit any ABBA references in my reply.Thank you for that, I lost hope when @Aarrgghh replied seriously without acknowledgement of my hard work

Edit: RAM timings seem to be borked though. I have mine set as XMP, which is meant to be CL17, but HWInfo is reporting it running at CL18.
I've set the timings manually now, the problem persists. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯It's a bug with Gigabyte starting with ABB, I would've thought Gigabyte would patch it by now. You need to manually set the timings, XMP is borked and only runs even timings.
I'm hoping the BIOS forgetting settings will be fixed as well, main reason why I haven't dropped my Ryzen 3 chip in yet.

I've run a latency test in AIDA64 and there is no difference. So I can tolerate the 'problem'.I've seen this problem as well on my system. When we say 'problem' there might be an underling reason why this happens. And when I say 'reason' I mean a proper reason other than saying it's a bug.
