Well at least there are cheaper X570 motherboards - if the VRMs are OK on these then it might not be too bad.
Edit!!
How many CPU power phases on that motherboard? That is the $160 motherboard.
That's one ugly mofo of a mobo.

Maybe to 4xxx. They said am4 was to 2020. But most bar graphs only go up to 2020.How many generations will the x570 last? The b550 boards can't come fast enough and I may not even upgrade until they come out. It's either that or wait to see how the x470 boards handle everything.
Taichi should be $269, but I am waiting for some confirmation as I was previously told that it would be ~£229. The nice thing about the ASRock boards is that the DIMM slots are in T-Topology layout so if you do add more RAM at a later date you won't be as limited in clock speed.

Will be interesting to see if there is a backlash in reduced sales with all the crazy prices. Motherboards are not do bad for me as I keep them for a long time but I can see for frequent upgraders it could get expensive.
Now we know why there won't be PCIe v4.0 for current boards after all the talk about makers having succesfully tested it in better boards....The mboard prices are comedy.
What in your opinion is ugly about it?![]()
The heatsinks, the white on black traces and lettering, the fan, the crappy lighting and it looks cheap...apart from those it's OK I suppose.

What do you have now? With a B350 I would stick with one of the 65W TDP CPUs like the Ryzen 5 3600,as it looks the price/performance sweet-spot currently.
Reviews are going to be really fascinating to read through!
It could explain the large size of the Rome IO chip.
