Well usually.
But stock will be day one (Perhaps not all lines across the spectrum though).

It's like this is the first launch some people have witnessed lol.

I remember GPU launches where stock is in transit on the day etc.

If you look closely, you can get all the data from the CPU, it was made in Week '16 of 2019, which is mid-April, and the two dies as previously confirmed are diffused in two different countries.

There's a 3600 non X for £192 too, if that's unlocked then it could be a monster chip for the price.

What do people with modern Intel CPUs get for "MP Ratio" in Cinebench R20? Ryzen 5 3600 supposedly gets 7.47x (6c/12t), Xeon X5675 gets 7.82x (6c/12t). I wonder if Intel regressed in this metric over the years?

I think AMD smt design is much better than intel HT hence having better scaling on applications that can use the logical processor cores.

Do they normally release new memory around new mother boards (x570) and new cpus ? or are there decent memory around now ? not really clued up on what memory i should get to match the 3600x/3700x

Best wait for the reviews so we can see if there is any specific memory needed, such as with 1st gen. There are some great deals going around on memory right now but it's a gamble on whether or not you want to spend more money for a die that we know works well with Ryzen.

Only when there's new DDR version.
And even that availability of new memory needs to precede motherboards clearly.
No one is going to make motherboard whose selling relies on memory which might just become available at same time with mobo.

Though we might get some memories with new Samsung A-die chip.
There's just no info yet about it if it's going to clock well with tight latencies.

Well that 9900k is a 5.3ghz run so i would expect the higher clock speeds, memory and all the associated bits that clock off that to make a big difference.
