Yes good idea to share that if I am looking to get a forum ban, lol.

seen it. got to resist. lol.
@Journey noooo...
@Noxia it's fine, i'll just be an outcast and hang out with janis and damian with my 7700x lol
@Noxia i use my computer/game at 1440p and there's not a lot that would tax a 7700x+7900xt currently to warrant an upgrade tbh. not even sure i'd want to upgrade to the 9000 ryzens/radeons unless there's a compelling reason to
@Journey noooo...
yes totally lol. need to resist any temptationYep, yet you still get that urge to change lol. I get it, It's in the same logic that I'll get tempted by new GPU's despite the fact there are barely any pc games that push GPUs for the right reasons anyway.
haha you need to stop computing like a serf and join the AM5 crewStick with your 7700x, I have the least powerful CPU in the household now, but I did upgrade, from a 5600G to a 5700G.
I really would like an AM5 equivalent, but hard to justify given the high prices of the 8600G/8700G.

@Journey i'd have thought that unless you needed the cpu performance, a cheap gpu on the 5700G would outperform a 8600/8700G for gaming?
unless your aim was compact and low power?
I stopped playing games for a good while, so downsized, then I got into OC'ing the APU's which I found fun so stuck with them. Have a GPU I could install but that is boring.
