Though I am very confused as to why we still see people buying 7700k's each day etc, their loss I guess!

Seriously though, dont provoke him, he will just come and drag you down to his level of moronicness and beat you with his vast experience
Lets keep it on the topic of AMD and Ryzen and the fact the CPU market is about to get a much needed shake up which should hopefully benefit us all!

Edit!!
Following is a more general comment about some comments made in the thread.
I still remember some people in denial when CPC leaked the Athlon 64 results months early.
Even Intel engineers say Ryzen looks competitive:

It shows you that even Intel as a company can have positive things to say about Ryzen and it shows the mentality of some in this thread.
They are more defensive of Intel than Intel itself.
Some of the "so-called" enthusiasts here are in some weird E-PEEN bubble.
They are desperate for Ryzen to fail,so to protect the secondhand value of their CPUs and since they are emotionally invested in Intel, and are more worried about E-PEEN.
The rest of us want Ryzen to succeed since it gives Intel more competition and we get more choice and lower prices.
Even the biggest Intel fan should want Ryzen to be decent and be well priced.
There is no rational reason for wanting Ryzen to fail.

Agreed - even Intel engineers at that last Ryzen presentation thought it would be competitive.
LMAO,Intel engineers have more positive things to say about an AMD product than "so-called" enthusiasts.
