Only messing, here is the photo.

I said between Haswell and BW-E level IPC overall,so unless the pure gaming results are different it seems I was correct.

We started the speculation: by just trying to be close to Haswell's IPC, AMD will have a solid product.

The first leaks shows ryzen has higher IPC than haswell.

AMD Presentation shows that has IPC close to Broadwell.

OcUK is like : this cpu doesn't beat skylake on IPC, "it's a useless pile that should be burnt."

399$ for 8 haswell/broadwell cores is extremely good.

I'm just assuming now that rainforest is not going to come through.

****** to be honest. With a few days off, it was a rare occasion I had time to change build and get everything installed.

Now to figure out what the hell else I'm gonna do :/

So not quite as fast as a 6900k stock for stock, but still for the price difference between the two, the 1800x makes the 6900k look very expensive.

CLoser to clock for clock with regards to the 6900k, not stock for stock. Both Intel chips are overclocked, the 6900k more than the 7700k. The 6900k is 3.2Ghz base, 3.7Ghz is max single core turbo... then you know they also have a 4Ghz max turbo frequency(because... reasons). 1800x is 3.7Ghz max all core turbo, 4.0-4.1Ghz single core max.

Also if we're talking about straight up stock, Zen supports 2666Mhz at stock, Intel only supports 2400Mhz on both Intel chips. So it's still slightly off. Most people say 3.5Ghz is about the normal all core turbo you get under bigger loads on a 6900k, I'm under the impression a 7700k is more like 4.3Ghz for all cores(but I haven't paid a lot of attention to it). So I'd say it's a touch unfair in terms of stock running, the 6900k will be a few percent out, maybe more, the 7700k a bit less 1-2% maybe.

Yep looks like they never had stock as i did order as soon as it was up live i too have taken a couple of days off :(

Called round a few retailers including OC and the motherboard situation is pretty bad, even pre-orders won't be met as there is complete lack of boards from all manufactures :(

Oh but just wait and see how many retailers have overclocked cpu/mobo bundles in stock.. :(
