Amiga games

Me and a mate played through the amiga version of Another World. Great game. Oh and Flashback was even better, now a new version of flashback that would be cool....:D

Arrgh, you're one of them. ;) Sensi is the best football game ever, no exceptions.

So true! Me and my mates spent hours on SWOS, it's probably the best football game ever made! Crisp Flavours 4tw! :D

On a different note, did anyone remember 'Walker'? Where one of you controlled the actual Walker and the guns!

Could sit here and dump my memories for hours and hours.
I remember ordering Hunter from Premier Mail Order for an xmas prezzie (from my nan) out of a PC mag. I sneaked on many occasions before xmas day into my parients bed room and nabbed the game to play it... putting it back before they came back from whereever they were.
Great game, and of course i found the lady in a bikini on an island.

I also remember watching the green dots on xcopy III.

Can anyone find me the music for Exolon on the Amiga? Ive have searched like mad but not found anything.

...Persian Gulf Inferno :D

:D Persian gulf was an amazing game

Operation wolf was a good one too. My dad used to play gunship 2000 quite a lot, using the paper keyboard controls thing :o

Mum used to like playing bubble bobble and project one and probably still would if she could use a joystick like we used to have.

can you get usb amiga style joysticks with directions and 2 fire buttons on? I had 2 black and red ones and one smaller one that was square at the bottom with 2 yellow buttons

...I only used the Konix 'Navigator' joystick. Went through many of them in Kick Off 2 marathons :D

Doubt you'll find many one or two button sticks nowadays though.

Any 1 remember Captain Planet?
And ya the Ghostbusters 2 game used to freak me out as a kid.

i remember captain planet, the sound were a bit weird

This was the badboy i had -without the cat, lol

Had 2 of them and a Zipstik. (black n yellow one)

I remember absolutely bricking myself playing the demo of Space Crusade. Never got the actual game.

Hunter was awesome but I never managed to achieve anything - and it didn't work on the A1200. Thinking of firing up an emulator so I can have another go.

Edit: I broke about four of those Quickshot joysticks playing SWOS.

Oh yeah - the FPS bits of Jurassic Park were pretty scary. First 3D FPS I ever owned.

Theatre of death used to be quite good from what i remember. Superfrog was also a top game.

I might buy a second hand amiga! emulators dont capture the full glory some how

Theres a few games id dig the amiga out to play. Theme Park AGA, SimCity 2000 ( I upgraded my A1200 with a 4Mb Fast RAM expansion just to play this )

Scariest game of all tho was Darkseed. It was grand and resembled the alien fils i thought

Ive still got my old A600 in my dads loft

Quickshot Maverick was where it was at, a behemoth of a joystick that you would have to work really hard to destroy. I did manage to ruin a Cheetah 125+ though so that it was held together more by sticky tape than anything else.

Take a look here for a load more, I also had the Quickshot Pad and some random cheapy joystick called a Mantaray or similar. Damnit, now I want to buy an ST again.

Can i point you in this direction - only if youve had a few beers...

Joysticks....

Cheetah 125+ cheap - the amount of times i would rench the god dam thing off the suckers... i mean leaving the suckers on the beano annual or what ever it was stuck on and the joystick in my hand. Still the best one i ever had.
QuickShot II - Good but no base buttons.

Hated klicky mirco switch ones.

The Amiga was awesome.

Awesome games (that I can still remember):

Alien Breed: Tower Assault
Dune II: The Battle for Arrakis
IK+
Stunt Car Racer
Test Drive

That's all I can think of ATM, but I had dozens and dozens of games when I got rid of it.

Im right handed but used a joystick with my left hand. I think it was because most games you were traveling right so it just felt more right... if you get my meaning.
