Striking that many, including myself, still retain the thought and ideal that we really want Amorim to do well, he leaves with his integrity intact, albeit his managerial CV is badly dented.

Also the consideration that our name is enough of a draw that we can pinch people that aren't available....although less of a draw than we used to be!

I really hope he does well and shows what he can do with the right players. I trust him more than INEOS, even if he was out of his depth, so are INEOS!
 
Honestly surprised it's not happened earlier.

I know it's not gonna happen but I think Ole would do well with this team.
 
Next question is, with Utd's obvious money troubles, there is no big war chest to use to lure someone to form their own team. Someone needs to see this squad plus 2 or 3 others in the summer as being potentially competitive.

Also whoever comes in permanently, his role has to be absolutely clear, and that guy would do well to ensure that it is stated publicly by the club at the start.

Starting to think they must have someone lined up.

For the most part, you don't just sack a manager overnight.

But what do I know, disillusioned with United these days...

He is flexible and plays whatever formation suits the players he has, like a good manager does from what I’ve read about him.

Well, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how Man Utd doing the same thing that they've done six or so times before goes this time. It can't possibly fail!
