Just don't know what to make of it.

Clearly yesterdays press conference was the final straw for him but here we go again with interim managers and another search for the next one....

Almost just at the point of shrugging my shoulders and seeing what happens next....

A mess from top to bottom at the moment at United.....

We are 6th with a squad made out of under 18's on the bench. As a club we haven't got a pot to **** in financially and now Ineos sack him which seems really stupid especially since we will be getting all our players back from Afcon soon.

Unless Maresca's sacking triggered this? God knows who we are going to get in. There really isn't any good managers on the radar.

Give it Ole to the end of the season?

alonso ?

or we could give Jamie Carragher a go, he seems to know a lot about what it takes to manage Utd.

Reckon Fletcher will start Fletcher and Fletcher in midfield? To keep the youth player record intact of course.

Wondered if Ruben would end up back at Sporting CP so I checked the Portugese Primeira Liga and spotted that Sporting are 2nd, 7 points behind Porto! Wonder if Rui Borges is sweating about his future now? :P

steve mclaren is avail
Don't even joke about it!!

Initial thoughts on replacements (not enthused by Darren Fletcher, even short term).

Maresca - quite like him, doesn't feel a good fit for INEOS maybe

Glasner - could be good, hard to say

Southgate - doubtful but could be an interesting caretaker just for a laugh

Xavi - doesn't seem a great fit but again, interesting

Iraola - stock has dropped a bit lately but he's got a tough job at Bournemouth when they keep selling all their players

Howe - meh, I think he's quite limited but a decent manager

Not gonna lie, these moments along with the summer transfer windows have been my favourite times as a United fan for far too long. All the possibilities. Will this next manager be the one? How will our new signings do? Could this be the fork in the road?

Surely I can't be alone in this.

In all seriousness, you'd think they'd look at something like

De Zerbi, Glasner, Areola?

Pierre Sage also looks like a good possibility? Depends if they had the cash, Lens play great football. he did say back in April his dream was to manage in England and took inspiration from English team managers, Lens sit top of Ligue 1 atm.

All their teams play decent football, albeit Areola's is abit Kamekaze

Glasner is the most likely imo. The concern Utd will have with him is that he's got a big mouth on him and has on numerous occasions been critical of Palace/Palace's board, which is ultimately why they've just sacked Amorim.

You can be **** and quiet or you can be good and critical. You can't be **** and critical.

Nope, I'm exactly the same. Hope springs eternal.
