And? That doesn’t change fact your stadium is ran down, club itself is in turmoil it’s ran like crap

What’s your point of this list? Utd have spent billions on players still all over place despite 10 managers

If you think Utd are perceived as a top club or up there with Madrid and Barca from a perception point of view your deluded.

There are many clubs excluding Barca and Madrid that are ran far better and more likely to win things over a longer period than Utd are right now.

Man Utd are a rich club despite debt, and are known all over the world.

They are not however a top, well ran club and haven’t been for years

It has to be fixed some stage but it’d turmoil shows no sign of it happening anytime soon

Reddy tweet sums it up Amorim situation abit as well

“INEOS kept on a manager they had no faith in, openly canvassing Europe for his successor but then armed him with £200m to spend on players he wanted, and changed the backroom staff before sacking him anyway. They axed a sporting director, whose way of working was well established, because he did not fit in with how they wanted him to work. He warned them about selecting a head coach attached to a fixed style of play, which didn’t suit the squad and how expensive it would be to build a quality 3-4-3. They didn’t listen, insisted they believed wholeheartedly in Ruben Amorim’s approach, but then wouldn’t fully back it in the transfer market and asked him to change the tactical principles that attracted them to him. Some “best in class” decision-making…”

Nothing they do makes sense. Managers will join Utd cause it’s UTD the name still has pulling power but that will run dry soon, I don’t see a single world class top manager touch the club.

I think your next risk is the mangers you attract won’t be the ones the club want if that makes sense.
That's a fair evaluation from Reddy. It can be fixed but really needs a billionaire to buy the Glazers and Ineos out. Not a group of people, one person who would then appoint staff to run the sporting side and leave it to them. Anyone know any such billionaires? :p

Your missing the entire point so enjoy your delusion.

I’m not disputing Utd money. if you think your up there from a playing point of view and you as well ran as ourselves and city your to be frank an idiot.

You value means nothing when the club is run as badly as it is

No idea what club you support? Real Madrid?
Why are you calling me an idiot?
We are 2nd biggest in world and 6th in Prem?
Liverpool.

I think I’ve been clear on my point and your only answer is look at this list which isn’t anything I’ve disputed or anyone in this thread

I apologise for the name calling

The money, global support and general club size isn't in question - but yes, there are deeply flawed aspects of the club that need to be fixed. I think INEOS are on the right track but they've made a complete bodge of the managerial situation (and the DoF with Ashworth).

So who is our bet for interim then?

Ruud?
Carrick?
Ole?
Southgate?

I don't want Fletcher. I've never been keen on him, although he was a good player obviously. I think he's just interim for the Burnley game, and perhaps Brighton at the weekend too. As it stands, anyway.

Ole could be interesting and would help stabilise things until the summer. I actually think he did a pretty good job (in hindsight) and it was derailed by Sancho being an idiot and Ronaldo being a bad decision.

You know what, I'd happily give Southgate a go just as an interim. He's dull but he's used to dealing with the kind of drama this club attracts, the press love him and he would settle everything down and just use the players in a logical way. It would be quite interesting.

The fans won't have Southgate. It's been floated enough and the response is terrible. It's not a progressive appointment.

My money is that Fletcher does two games max and they bring in Carrick to head it up with him as number 2. That makes the most sense as an interim appointment. Carrick has nothing to lose by doing this and it offers a degree of continuity.
Fletcher is a good guy, he knows quite a lot about the club and how it operates. I think he can be political which Ruben couldn't. Ole couldn't say no but I think he was so hurt the last time that he wouldn't want it permanently. He's not the right guy to challenge at the top level. Elite teams are not run on vibes and counter attack.

De Zerbi is an option. Premier League expereince but not exactly killing it at Marseille. Much more likely you get Carrick and Fletcher and then go for a perma manager in the summer - presumably after the world cup.
Glasner is going to leave Palace but I suspect not until the summer.

No probs boss.
That Slabhead goal must have stung a bit?
;-)
Not really as your club keeps delivering entertainment for the rest of us and pain for you ;)

I’m not sure if it would work but do Utd fans still actively protest against the owners etc? If not should they be doing?

I’m not sure ineos are your savers infact outside in I think you need a full buyout by some body and clubs restructured entirely who that person would be I’ve no idea.

I remember our protest to get hicks and gillet out but the ownership wasn’t done in same model of Utd with the whole stock exchange unsure if that impacts buying etc

Don't see why Carrick would come when he's doing such a good job at Middlesbrough. He's his own man and I'm sure would rather have his own success elsewhere.
