An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion thead

Uhm, if someone shouted out the ending or a plot twist to a film you have waiting to see for ages while your lining up at the cinema wouldnt you be a bit peed off?

Perhaps, yes.

But I wouldn't get peed off enough to exercise any authority I may have over the person in question ;)

Davey, I apologize for the "Get a Life" comment. It was uncalled for.

I just picked up a copy of PC Gamer. I rarely if ever buy magazines these days as most stuff can be found out online, but they've gone to town on putting a nice big Oblivion image on the cover of the packaging and it was just too tempting.

I really shouldn't read it incase it contains any spoilers.... but am struggling and think I might have too!

You can create and work out stats for a character here... http://www.oblivionmods.info/
I'm gonna be a thief/assassin type bloke.
Just been looking at this link in preparation for next week :D. I played Morrowind, but I've never really understood the whole character growth thing (I relied on my trusty sword to persuade people). This time around I want to use more stealth and magic skills but still have a sword as backup. So is there any reason not to create a character whose primary skills are for stealth for example: Khajiit, Shadow birthsign, specialise in Stealth, and then select combat as the major skills? Would this result in a good jack of all trades character, or a character who is average in most things but not great at anything????

Can someone explain the best way to develop a character who is great at stealth whilst still being handy with the sword and magic :)

I havent even pre ordered, which was perhaps a bad idea.
I'm flying to Luton on the 24th for work, so I'm hoping to pick it up while I'm there.

Thats a cool link :) Having never played Morrowind it'll give me an idea of what to do (character creation wise)

If its as good an morrowind thats another year of gaming taken care of for me :D :D :D . And on the subject of char custom made battle wizard for me. Big axe and lots of cool powers. I found that setup to me most versitlie in morrowind.

Read the PC gamer review, it does not contain any spoilers as the reviewer is sensitive to that fact and just details a couple of scenarios he experienced. Only whets the appetite more for this amazing title!

Sorry if I missed it but what did it score? :D

Ive had the mag for nearly a week now, just to comment about a little bit the reviewer said that he and a m8 both played the game and only for the main quest the didnt do anything similar, so in that case there really cant be any spoliers as we should all have a different experience with the game.
