I can't find a higher quality one, the file size is showing at ~ 4 megs on the ElderScrolls website, so it must be all they've uploaded.

I don't think it's an anticlimax really, the video quality isn't ace, but trying to see through that, I think it still looks good :)

They're only meant to be teasers, I can understand them not wanting to give too much away. What with the extra screenshots that have gone up in the last few days and all the interviews etc, I think they're releasing about the right amount.

Havent people heard of divx? Theres no excuse for poor video quality in the 21st century. Yesterday gamespot were broadcasting a live fear contest in mpeg format, I was thinking WTF.

a lot of legit companies are attempting to boycott xvid+divx because of it illegal applications, hoping that perhaps the press will make the formats synonymous with 'illegal' like has happened with 'P2P' and is to a degree still the case with MP3.

Any video codec can be used for downloaded films so the boycott is bound to fail as customers learn more about computers.

i deal daly with 'customers' and 'computers' and can confidently say that the level of stupidity/ignorance is incredible, mp3's are napster which is illegal and xvid are the people who make pirate films. Yes clients ive talked to have actually said those things.

Oblivion

OK, Well i was only introduced to Oblivion 2 days ago and i can't wait for it already.

I have read a bit of the PC gamer review, which makes it sound amazing.

Whats the IV bit about? have there been others? Should i play them before buying this one?

Also worries about my PC's spec and if it will run it ok... Any opinions, spec is in sig. Only difference is i now have 1 GIG of RAM....

Oblivion is the 4th Game in the series.

1, 2 and 3 were Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind respectively.

Each game can be played without having played the rest. Each is independent of the other in terms of story line, but shares a common history, lore and mythology. Each game sees the player fulfillying a prophesy (an "elder scroll") in the Kingdom of Tamriel.

You're computer should run the game ok, but don't expect to have it on high detail.

With that graphics card you're going be be really struggling even with lower detail... you should really invest in a minimum of a 256-bit 6800 series card.

I guess you mean 256Mb! I think the whole geforce series has been 256bit right from the days of the Geforce 256!

I think you need to do your reading up on graphics cards. :p

6600 series is 128-bit, even the new 7600GT is 128-bit. The first true 256-bit graphics card foir gamers was the ATI 9700, a revolution of its time. :)

Gameplay makes a game not graphics. I would still go for it IMO.

Agreed... but framerates also count, no? Oblivion is a VERY intensive game, that''s all i was saying..

Here is a picture of my spec and if it is any good for running Oblivion.
