And a question, what are Welkyd stones for? I have about 34 and they are taking up space i'd rather use for other stuff if they are useless.

I have a feeling they replenish magika, like a potion would do, but I'm not entirely sure. When I clicked on in mine in my inventory when I had full magika a message appeared stating that I had full magika already. I could be wrong though.

Dam those vampires were hard, i had to lure them outside and get the Scamps from the Oblivion gate to take them out while i stood on a rock.

I noticed my characters strength and intelligence have been drained by some enemy. How do i get the points back? I've tried leveling, sleeping, waiting etc but no effect. Is there some form of potion?

Go to an altar (Weynon Priory) and pray at it (click on it)

I have done a few Dark Brotherhood quests but I am still Level 1. How do you go up levels?

you need to sleep in a bed, then you'll go up a level when you wake up.

I didn't know for ages, I went from level 1 to level 7.

Thanks Trixxy, strange though, I slept in one to start the Dark Brotherhood thing rolling but all my save points say level one.

You need to sleep at an inn, or a guild house if you've joined any. If you sleep elsewhere, or rough as I did, you won't level up. I too went from lvl 1 to 5 like this when I slept at an inn.

Great news, i have Oblivion. Theres a problem though, i carnt play it until the rest of my stuff for my new pc comes.

they recharge your magic items, bows etc

Ah, I don't use any magic (yet) just swords, but if they are usefull later on I will keep them.

Where can you get these Welkyd stone from?

Dammit i sold a really expensive staff cos it ran out of uses and i didnt know how to recharge it.

Not quite correct.

Welkynd stones can be used to instantly restore all your magika.

Varla stones can be used to recharge all the magical items in your nventory, and are much rarer.

They recharge your magika, Varla stones recharge weapons iirc

available from all good elven ruins while stocks last

theres people all over who do it, mages guild mainly

or you can use soul stones if u like
