My copy is sat on my TV. I've only played it for a few hours elsewhere, am starting to get a bit twitchy! Holding out till I get my new PC!
 
I played this game again this morning, ok so I am now obsessed with the game. Just finishing up the mage quests, got to sneak into someones house and convince him to give me a staff :D
 
Im really loving this game so far. And im glad to say its a worthy sequel to daggerfall. Although Morrowing was a great game, it lost a lot of the essence of Daggerfall. Im glad to find out that that essence is now back. One bit that took my breath away, is on the road north up to the mountains, there is a bit where you can look back down to the imperial city, and the view is absolutely stunning. I must have stood there for at least 5 minutes, just admiring the view.

I know exactly the place you mean, it looked fantastic.

Been playing about 15 hours now, level 7. It started off great, and it's still picking up. I changed from HDR to bloom + 4xAA, now it looks better and is smoother, so combat is even better. Need to go back to the arena to get spell money! :D
 
Considering rerolling my char on oblivion atm due to it being insanely hard to play lol. Got a warrior and nearly every fight at lv 10 is leaving me close to death due to my gear lol (crap sword but shield and armour is decent).

Might roll a mage kinda char but not sure of what talens or star sign to pick
 
Ok ive been playing for a total of 8 hours and so far im lvl 8 custom warrior class, ive been in about 6 dungeons, ive done about 2 oblivion gates, although i have found about 6 of them.
My ranks are:
Fighters guild journeyman- im looking for 3 aloe veras there easy to find so no worries.

Arena champion: i got to that rank in about 2 hours and now ive got one more fight to do then im grand champion and also get some amazing armour for doing it :)
 
aarrghh, has anyone noticed how annoying it is when the people following you attack you for the littlest thing :p i hit his cut and he was like "now i shall kill you" aarrgghh

and when some guard attacks you for steeling stuff, took me to castle, and then there was a guard atacking this guy who was following me so i attacked the guard and then all the guard attack me WTF lol

oooh yeh and i got stuck in a rock lol, and i had a flying horse lol go me for glitch finding

good game though

There's an NPC in the Dark Brotherhood base at Cheydinhal that sells them, you'll need to be a member though.

I'm OWNING the arena at the moment :D Just progressed up to Warrior rank, methinks I'll be taking on the Grand Master soon :p
 
Got the game and been thoroughly enjoying it on my 6600gt.

I've been playing it with quite a few settings on high at 1024x768. It's quite smooth but outside, its around 20fps so i'm gonna see how I can get it to the all important 30
edit: btw, where the hell is the Thieves Guild?

Going to rain on your parade here, but the grand master happens to be whatever level you are at the time. Hes no more difficult when you are level 1 than if you waited till you were level 20.

Whole game is exactly the same. Bit of a show stopper... Quite litterally, as its going to take a month or two until the modders can fix it.

Least ittle solve all the 'which should I buy, the PC or Xbox version?' qustions. Though after the tragedy that was unfixable bugy Xbox Morrowind, was this ever in question?

How good is your alchemy? If its decent you can make restore health potions out of bolete cap, boar meat, venison, lady smock leaves, aloe vera leaves and a host of others which i've not found yet ;). yeah i'm not bad at alchemy but keep finding things take are poisonous :o
i know they can help by using them with weapons and stuff... keeping my armorer/weapons in tip top condition with my own kits and when they're really borked i fork out the cash to get them fixed... not good at dodging yet though.

wish it was easier to find guilds though :-/
 
Well just to add my 2p. I'm pretty much loving the game and not a big rpg fan.

Rerolled and now playing a mage which is quite fun. High elf mage :)

Just been running about at the minute as not far in only about an hour. I'm getting 60fps outside on 1280x1024 everything detail wise ultra high. Think ill turn some AA on etc when i get the chance. It looks lovely anyhow.

Whats the best way to get money? Can you join a thief guild and mage guild or?

I made a few thousand stealing from all the shops in the big castle place. Go at night time about 1am when everything is quiet. Although.. You need to be in the thieves guild first so you can sell stuff thats been stolen. Sleep in an inn for a level up, or anywhere. Just sleep in a bed.
 
Just got done with a really great quest.

Its the one with the missing painter, if any of you have played it then you will know what I mean, this one you will remember for a long time :), Would like to thank the person who came up with that one because it was very fun :).

Baught some spells for the first time, basic 25damage ones in fire,ice and shock. So far so good! I think Im ready for another Mage guild quest.
