An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion thead

Load times for Morrowind and Oblivion really do depend on the speed of your harddrive - there are hardly long load times in Morrowind now. Though BS have got it right about the streaming of load areas - no pause at all :)

Is anyone else finding the battles getting way way harder as they progress? I'm a 15th lvl warrior now and having to face off against wraiths, dread zombies and such... They just whack my health down while I'm there whittling away at theirs, not really damaging them at all.

I'm journeyman rank in hvy armour, block, blade and blunt - and still i'm getting constantly raped :(

Can anyone give me some combat pointers? lol

Just got myself this very nice dagger called Sufferthorn. I went straight into the arena and literally two shotted a high elf mage heh :D

Is there any way to recharge the procs on weapons?

Does anyone know where I can get more lockpicks? I had loads, used them all, now the guy in the Thieves guild wont sell me any more, and also the Orc in some weapons shop sold me one, and now has no more, i dunno what to do

There's an NPC in 'Olav's tap and tack' at Bruma that sells them. He's not usually in there until late afternoon though.

I can't remember the name of the NPC come to think of it, IIRC it's either Ongar or Olav...

He'll also buy your stolen loot.

Bandits usually have lockpicks on them, theres bandits in the ruins near where you come out of the serwers at the start of the game.
