Ferrari would likely have won with Lewis Hamilton. Or Verstappen, who has shown good qualifying speed and then a great ability to control a race once at the front. Or Alonso, who drove the wheels off the McLaren. Or Ricciardo, who had sub-par year due to car issues but still performed reasonably well himself.
Verstappen had as bad a start to the season as Vettel did after the summer. Undoubtedly finished the season strongly (also helped by Ferrari largely being off the pace though), but likewise Vettel started strongly (Baku excepted, and he still finished fourth). Agree that Hamilton and Alonso probably would have won it in that car though.

Vettel did bad in China:

Bad, as in being 500 metres past the pit entry when the safety car came out and therefore unable to pit for free like the Red Bulls? Bad as in his team being tactically out-thought by Mercedes doing the undercut? Bad as in being smashed into and spun around by Verstappen who received a time penalty for the incident?

Right.

Just posting a load of **** as normal then. It isn't even opinion, it is just wrong.

Well, did he pit later? This was a mistake because his tyres were finished before the spin.

Let's keep discussion to the "6th WDC thread". It's getting a bit silly, having two threads discussing the same stuff.
