One thing I hope in the future of these is the ability to put any Linux distro on them. Android is just slow and badly optimised, you simply shouldnt need a quad core to run something so simple in a usable manner.
Android mini pc (MK802). Anyone got one ?

I just got ubuntu LTS armhf running natively on my tablet and it's damn quick.... will youtube it later.... there are plenty linux images out there for these android sticks already
I got a Rikomagic MK802 IIIS off ebay for £37 delivered. Its ok for most things (youtube, catchup tv and some games). I also can now stream videos from my laptop to the tv. If you get one make sure you use a 2amp power brick or you will have issues, also the wifi range is only about 2.5 meters.
