Anno 2070

I actually installed this again the other day too but just couldn't get into it as much as I can 1404. I think its just the era that bugs me.
 
Finally downloaded installed and did the 32 slow patches. It then asks me for my serial. I thought the Ubi thing was like steam once registered its too your account, I have no idea what my serial is now.... :(

I hate Ubisoft... :mad:
 
i've reinstalled about 20 times as i had a few failures on my os when testing win 8 beta.

even though the HW was identical. Possibly due to me deteting pertition and rebuilding os. i quickly used up all my activations.

I had to send an email requeting this to be lifted. They will only allow you 1 activation after you have reached the 1st 5 limit.

It also takes about 5 days for a response from them.

Not very good tbh

Have emailed them asking for it to be unlocked. Was a nightmare trying to find the form to send in the piles of useless online help sections.

I dont have the manual or the code anymore. No idea where it is tbh. I thought once registered it was like steam the games are on your account.

My other games are also asking for the same thing now as well... :mad:

my copy was retail so i dont know about steam. I thoughtyou activated steam purchased games through the steam app itself?

I don't use it.

Mine was retail, I just have either chucked the box or lost it as it registered to an account so didn't think it was needed.
 
I have had a reply from ubi and they want a scan of the original box showing barcode, game manual showing serial no and purchase receipt before they will do anything. I don't have any of this anymore for all but one of my uplay games.

I just used a nocd exe and ubi can get stuffed. What a stupid system they run, what is the point of registering your game to a uplay account and then having activation limits....

Must have seen this and decided it was time I installed and actually played this, but my god it's frustrating. Trying to work my way through the campaign and I just don't understand it. On 3/3 where I need to get up to 1000 power to overload F.A.T.H.E.Rs sheilds, got my balance ticking over at around +500, set up another underwater base with a warehouse, a depot, two Algae farms and a food factory and somehow my balance drops straight to -2000! Driving me nuts :(
 
I've reinstalled Anno 2070 on my new Windows 8 install and the default language is now German? How do I go about switching back to English?
 
Quick question - I haven't played Anno 1404 or 2070, which would you recommend? I don't have heaps of time so unlikely to ever play both but have an Ubisoft voucher to use up so would like to give one of them a go.
