Oh btw are we assuming the 300mb patch the other day wasnt just a patch but included the world event too? Or do we think the world events are all built in to the game already?
 
@oxygene: Is that Ubisoft launcher that you connect to a local PC component or is it online? In that case it would be possibility number 2.
@Quixote: Thanks as well, interesting observations, but as you don't appear to be 100% certain either, I still don't really know for sure.

Well heres the thing. I couldnt be sure without testing. The launcher when it comes up loads some of your stats and rewards from the net, but I couldnt say if it would still allow you in game if the net wasnt there...

Are these cd-keys legal?
We only sell cd-keys from original retail games bought from authorized dealers, meaning all cd-keys are legitimate and will work without any restrictions.

Sometimes when the first choice isn't available (Steam) then you have to either accept second best or just move on :D

I would have liked a Steam key, at that price, but an installable folder on my HD (which is backed up) is good enough to allow me to play the game.

Same, if the steam option was cheaper, i'd have gone with that.

£19 for the key was superb. Email within 5-10mins and downloading now.

No complaints, cant wait to spend my weekend playing this.

I've been struggling quite a lot on the last mission of the world event. Anyone here finished it yet? I cant get my people advanced enough to make decent ships. I have a dozen commando ones but they cant do anything against the turrets even if they can take out all the enemy scouts!
 
Seriously guys could someone break down the best way to beat the world event mission 3 for me :p I manage to destroy all their ships but dont own anything powerful enough to take down towers. By the time I get planes in (which the towers cant attack) they have enough ships back to wipe them out easily. And I cant defend my planes attacking towers because I cant get near the towers with ships lol.
Plus on the long game I'm on now my island has run out of ores and I'm dying :( time to start again!
