What!?
I'll have a quick 30 min go on Anno 2070, check your watch & 3 hours have slipped past in those "30 mins".

What!?

I had the post processing effects set to high and now turning them to low I am surprised at how better the game looks. For me the detail of the buildings etc is a lot more sharp and way less blurry.
Still in two minds on whether to continue with the campaign or jump into a sandbox type game. I did all the campaign of Anno 1404 and it did help in introducing new elements to learn etc at each passing level. I shall see how I go on.
I'm glad I bought it though as it is a worthy addition to the series.

Yes the post processing is mind boggingly poo, I thought I had set my textures to low when I first started a game with it on.
Only annoying thing I have found was the bobbins ubi activation, it seems as soon as you buy off steam an automatic user name is generated which you must use as it is tied to your steam email account which you must use too. Mine was something like shop01gh678347hjg (yep I;ll remember that......).
Was playing the military mission earlier , but I had nothing but boats?
I declared war but the other party had heli/jets and I built everything required and had around 1500 people but it wasn't progressing onto any other new buildings etc?
Example, in the harbour it asked for Engineers - how is that done? If its done by levelling up the workers I met all the conditions they asked for??
Sorry for the questions!
Also, playing the 'continous' gametype I experienced the same, I got to a point where I wasn't progressing in terms of building new things etc it kind of came to a halt even though I did everything? Any one have any ideas why?

Anyone?![]()
Getting to a point where you're not progressing is incredibly vague. Make sure whatever level of civilization you're on has all its needs satisfied, both consumables and buildings, then set their tax level to the lowest in order to advance them.
More info would help.
been playing the one game for 33 hours now. worth the money
Thats about £1 per hour of entertainment eh. What other entertainment gives as good a value?
A movie ticket?
I only manage to get the Tycoon Workers (I think they're called) to advance one level and then they don't progress. The tax level is always to the left (green) and never put to the higher levels.
I thought it may have been because I haven't built everything, so I built everything and then read the residency requirements (say hamburgers, fish, drinks, entertainment etc) and they're all green yet it still doesn't progress.
I was just hoping someone may know something I am missing out on making them progress - I had 1500 population yesterday but only went up 1 level and no 'new people' appeared in the bottom right corner to build new items / new building/items appear for existing people.
Hope that helps?
I do not know any movie that lasts over 7.5 hours for the cost of a ticket round here
