Even though it was sort of implied to keep it hush-hush but I wouldn't worry too much about practicing at Oulton park.....if you catch my drift.;)

EDIT: I just looked on FB and they've said whats what so the TT is at Donington GP in the V6 Megane.

The post was saying it's weather overcast, fuel and tyre wear off, ABS and Stability control on as well.

I'm not sure if that should be TC on instead of Stability but hope this helps.

Slightly off-topic, but you should really consider doing the demo VR mission on Star Wars Battlefront as a demo for the Vive. My B-in-law brought his PSVR over at christmas, I got to fly an x-wing fighter, talk about childhood fantasy fulfilled. It's a short linear mission but you fly around the rebel fleet, an asteroid belt and then dogfight with tie fighters around an imperial cruiser...

I was giggling like a schoolgirl all the way through, what can I say. It was epic!
 
Hang on - so is this current round Donington instead??

And if its stability on that's a factor - it makes the car much easier to drive (too easy imo)

Does anyone know full details for sure?

We're all in the same boat, settings wise and if you go now you'll know the combo beforehand and can get some practice laps in at least.

First I knew was when the headset was on and the loading screen came up saying Donington GP. haha. :D

Cheers :) Haven't raced Donington (in a sim obvs!) for years, so will do a few laps and hopefully make it up this month sometime.
 
I'm definitely gonna have to make another trip up to set another time as I've gone 1.5secs faster than my VR time on the PS4, experimented with different lines and stuff and hopefully I'll have a solid lap down pat.

Nice to see that someone's inhabiting this thread haha.

Where did you get that screenshot from? Is that image from your own lap at home m8??

I've had a 29.6 on the PS4 and a 30.5 on the PC.(Apex_Apocalypse on steam,PC ID Apex_Predator).

Think I had a 31.1 in the VR rig and someone I know's had a 31.5.
What time did you get? I seen on the FB page, you went today?

I see on the OC FB page, they're taking the VR rig on a tour to get more people doing it.

The 1st stop is about 5 miles down the road in Stoke-on-Trent haha :D
 
I've just signed up to do this. Although I know it's passed I thought I'd give myself a go on Oulton to see where I stack up. I know I'm going to find the Vive hard to get used to but I think I can still set a decent lap on Donny.

Car is amazing. Has anyone got any more info on setup specifics. Date, time, weather. I've been setting mine practice to 11th March 11am which is the time trial official date but I'm using overcast as the weather model.
