Annoying words that people use

One of mine is "ta", both used online and in person, for the first time yesterday I heard a friend utter this horrible substitution for thank you to me
Generally it's internet slang used in real life.

my girlfriend used to say 'ta' a lot but its being worked upon.

I've got a mate here at uni who actually says 'gg' in real life but doesn't use it online.

Not so much a word as a phrase, when people say " He/she turned around and said to me so i turned around and said to her/him". WTF, were you on the teacups at Disney land when you were having this conversation?.

Saying that it doesn't really annoy me, in fact not much annoys me. My Dad annoys me though, when hes telling me something then just stops until i have to then ask him to continue, WTF is that about?.

"Your face" seems to come up in our group conversations all the time, to the point where it's so frustrating that you hear the collective sigh each time it's said.

Despite this it never seems to stop!

I HATE the use of "of" instead of "have". Slightly less, but errors in grammar annoy me, if they're particularly simple.

Recently its been BRAAP ... WTF is that supposed to be ? I've never heard it used anywhere, have no idea of its meaning. Can anyone enlighten me ?

A sound uttered when a heavy tune comes on usually heard in garage raves.
Combine with gunfingers for best results.

Listen to 'Gladiator' by Alias. You won't be able to help it.

brap! brap!

from the ghetto dictionary.

English is an open source language. Estuary English is the most commonly spoken dialect within England. Things change, get over it.

That doesn't change the fact that when writing, you should use the queens english. If you were writing a letter would you actually write.

Dear Guvna,
Ows ya fawtha me ol mucka. I weally like yow soida an would like to apply fow a fwee saaaaampwe.

Unless you're an idiot, no you wouldnt.

The only time dialects should be written are in novels, scripts and so on.

I worked with this woman who used to say "Carn" around 12 times a minute average (we had nothing to do so i started counting) and it really ****** me off. Apparently it means "do you understand" which makes it even more annoying. Here's an example of one section of talk from her:

"I was going down the street, CARN, and i thought i saw you on a bike. Then i realised you don't like pedal bikes, CARN, so it couldn't of been you, CARN. I said hi and everything before i realised it wasn't you, CARN, i felt like a right idiot, CARN."

My boss hated the fact he couldn't fire her for it, it drove everyone crazy.

** from the NE :D so lets not deny that you have your own language idiosyncrasies, i work with people from all over the UK and the planet for that matter, communication is exactly that, being able to converse. Is it right that a sizable portion of the 'English' language is sourced from France or latin. Who cares.
If it was official correspondence then yes but otherwise does it honestly matter
(yes i cant (can not) spell).
