Have to agree, stock height > lowered.
Lowered just looks wrong to be honest.

Dunno, not a fan of lowered cars anyway, especially considering the minimal arch gap that the ZS has anyway.

Yes and I agree, however I still want coilovers to improve the handling
With respect I'm sure the handling is fine and your just not driving the car properly. You can spend thousands getting tenths trying to make it drive the way you want it to, or hundreds getting seconds and learning how to drive properly.

The handling on the road is more than adequate, but its track use I'm interested in. I know tuition will help a lot which is what I plan to get but I still would like coilovers as they WILL improve the handling ability of the car.

It's not really acceptable to drive like that at any time, let alone meets where if you had a fatal accident you could get others into trouble.
That ridiculous stunt you pulled through that village with the 20mph zone in it at the Hampshire meet in March had more than a few people concerned of being seen to be 'with' you.
There is a time and a place for enjoying your car - 20 and 30mph speed limits and busy roads on a Saturday afternoon are neither the time nor the place. Thats the problem, you seem unable to work out when is a good opportunity to hoon and when is a bad opportunity to hoon and until you do so I live in fear that one day you might end up causing more than just a bunch of disapproving mutters in a carpark.

That is your opinion, but not mine. I want to improve the cars cornering ability, so asked on this forum about it.
You miss my point. People were a little concerned to be associated with you lest something happened and they got lumped in with it, not because of teh intarnetz.
By spending money on driver improvement stuff you can learn when its appropriate to use your cars performance and how its appropriate to use the performance. You'll enjoy it loads more than slamming ebay tat on your Rover.
And people will be far more impressed with your mad leet skillz if they are employed in the correct circumstances in a controlled fashion.
Your car is fast enough. Now is the time to spend a bit of focus on the guy behind the wheel as your next performance improving stage
