**ANOTHER DEAL OF THE CENTURY - THIS TIME ITS ATI's TURN!**

A few people have already asked the question but there's been no reply: is anyone at Overclockers able to tell us whether soft overvolting is supported by this card?

I noticed on the Sapphire website under specifications that the software included is a Driver CD and SAPPHIRE TriXX Utility, would that indicate that it may be overvolted in software?

edit - nvm, just seen the above post - ignore this

The card specs on the Sapphire site states it works with Sapphire Trixxx, which is their overclocking utility.

Although that could mean it does everything other than voltage control...

I'm still weighing up whether to get one of these.
It's a cracking price no doubt, but do I need one?
I'm currently running 2 Nvidia 250GTS cards in SLI on an nForce 650i board. However I hope to switch the board out for a P35 board to help with overclocking my CPU (which my 650i seems to refuse to do). However the P35 boards only have 16x and 4x PCI-e slots and don't officially support SLI.
So do I get one of these and sell both the 250GTS cards or keep 1 250GTS and sell the other? (PC is still running WinXP, so only DirectX 9)
How good are the 1GB 250GTS cards?

Still in a "major" dilemma over this offer...

Its all about whether I can justify to myself the upgrade over my 8800 GTS 512, for the sake of being able to run a few recent racing games (F1 2010; Shift 2; Shift 1) above low graphics settings and sometimes even no anti-aliasing at 1920x1200 to get vaguely playable framerates, when my Fanatec wheel is so tempremental with "8.8.8." errors (albeit I spent this morning taking apart the wheel following advice that might cure my issues).

It does seem that these days my "gaming" has been lowered to playing Texas Hold'em at MSN Gaming Zone or Chaos Tournament (ZX spectrum clone) after work, guess its a sign of getting older (37) and my simracing having been messed up horribly in the last 15 months or so after my old DFP gave up the ghost!

when will these definitely be in ocuk ?

looking t getting one but dont want to pre order in case you get a oh theyve been delayed for two weeks .

any news would be appreciated.

Somebody put my mind at rest please :D. Will the pre-ordered cards be being delivered tomorrow considering most people pay for next day delivery?

I would expect them to come into stock tommorrow, be shipped that evening and delivered on tuesday.

Hi there

They have arrived bang on time, good work Sapphire!

All backorders will be shipped today and I shall honor this special pricing until 6pm today, so "GET YOUR ORDERS IN"

Also some good news, the 5830's are full retail so come in a bigger box and the 5850's are a newer design that is now only 8.5" long which means they will fit in all cases. :)
