Exactly. Please don't tell me you think WW2 had no campers IRL.

MG's are campers, as its the only way to play. So are most snipers. I don't agree to assault/support camping, though. Or riflemen.

Can't believe people are moaning about campers in DoD:S, didn't any of you play the previous versions? DoD:S is nothing in comparison! As already stated grens take out campers very easily, even if not killing them the gren blur will blind them allowing you to take them out or they will move. With areas that need defense you will always have campers, it's part of the game. I just see it as a challenge.

What fps online game do you play that doesn't have any campers? I can't say that I have ever played one...

ive never played a previous version and theres nowhere near that amount of camping in CS:S or Q4 where i play.

just suprised me a lot as im rather gungho and just charge in...

i bought this when it came out, and play it on and off. Hadn't played it for ages and gave it a whirl after the update. It's improved, the weapons seem better, but it's just too damn fast. Player movement should be toned down 20 percent at least.

That was one of my problems when it first came out, but I hardly notice it now. In fact, running from a grenade you wish it was 20% faster.

ah, the joys of having admin on one's clan server. If people are being annoying/tking/etc, we will kick or ban them, especially if the server is full. I gave you the IP earlier, come along and join in, if I'm not on there, someone else should be, and the clan are a nice enough bunch of people.

Played it on and off this weekend and it hasn't won me over, kept getting TK'd at spawn but I felt like a was just rushing to go back and get TK'd all over again

Doubtful, I've been seeing lots of disconnections of people who were playing the free weekend, steam disconnects them with an account error (game not available or some such notice).

CS:S is just choke point camping!

I'm a gung ho player as well, you just get used to the maps though and the common "defensive" positions
