Thing to remember is that even if NVidia had released the RTX 20 series with 10 games that used raytracing features, they still would have been unusable until Microsoft released (just this month) the DXR update to allow the features to work with DX12.

DLSS on the other hand, well not really any excuse their .

And pricing well probably best to not mention it, as we all know they are far too expensive.

Absolutely!!!

RTX 2070 cost less than £500 can run Battlefield V at 1080p with DXR Ultra playable.

I reckon that most 2070 owners dont have a 9900k aswell though. Would be interesting to see a few benchmarks across some different processors and see how much of the slack the CPU is picking up

Well I sold my 2x GTX 1080Ti's to get a RTX 2080Ti for better performance in games that don't support SLi (most new titles don't), but my Gainward 2080Ti became a RMA 2080Ti and has now been sent back to the manufacturer from the retailer I bought it from.
Now I am going to buy a new GTX 1070Ti and when the RTX 2080Ti returns in a months time, I'll get my money back for it, since it died within 4 days of purchase.

I am so done with the RTX series !!

I'd like to see DLSS and RT utilized but it certainly won't be this crappy series.

wow swapped 1080ti for RTX, feel for you bud.

This thread is getting very bored nothing to see there.

When GTX 980 Ti was launched back in 2015 with £659 for the cheapest reference cards to £800 for custom cards, people was happy to pay twice the price of GTX 970. Titan Xp Jedi Order cards cost £1149 and Titan V cost £2800 a year ago so nobody moan about these prices. I don't know why you moaned about RTX 2080 Ti FE which is CHEAPER than Titan Xp Jedi Order.

I have to admitted I am really surprised on Nvidia reddit many people were happy to pay over a grand upgraded to RTX 2080 Ti from GTX 670, 970, GTX 1070 etc. since GTX 980 Ti I guess people wanted to pay more to get maximum performance with all graphics settings maxed out and didnt wanted to see huge performance hit.

I remembered read posts about Fury X price, AMD owners moaned about £659 price matched GTX 980 Ti which they cant afforded it.

I'm curious what the performance hit will be when a game uses it for more than just reflections though, if DXR On tanks framerates down to 35%-50% just for reflections - what about adding shadows, ambient reflections, refraction, diffusion etc

wow swapped 1080ti for RTX, feel for you bud.

Actually today I saw a weekend deal som instead of a single GTX 1070Ti, I have instead bought 2x Gigabyte GTX 1080Ti Gaming OC SLI again ! (I intitially sold my GTX 1080Ti SLi to get a RTX 2080Ti). When my RTX 2080Ti gets back i'll return it and get a refund. I only worked for 4 days. I am NOT getting 1st gen RTX cards again.
