Ant-Man & The Wasp Quantumania (Marvel)

Think we have to wait until more info is available before jumping to conclusions. Not saying its not true but will need to see facts before Marvel/Disney do anything.
I can't see them canning him if true, they've sunk to much into Kang being the face of phase 5 to get rid of him.

Not in a million years unless he was proven guilty. Which is the way it should be.

They have previous. I believe an actor was removed because of charges etc but has been proven innocent. Still hasn’t got his job back.

It looks as if the altercation took place in a cab so I guess we'll have to wait for the footage to be released (unless Disney throws all sorts of money around so it never sees the light of day)

Anyone got any decent links?

Lots of mixed stories of his GF redacting her statements but others saying he has been charged today?

Edit: looks like the DA has took this on. If true don’t think they need the witness statements?

Yeah read this earlier. It shows there was an altercation between them both. We don't know if she started being violent first or any of the specifics but regardless the optics aren't good particularly if she has physical injuries.

Watched it. Enjoyed it quite a lot. Seems to really set the scene for phase 5 well. Will definitely watch again when it hits D+. Better than most phase 4 movies.

1 mid credits scene and 1 post credits

Johnathan majors steals every scene he is in, just like he did in the final episode of Loki.

Watched it again last night. Too much comedy, in hindsight, a recent issue with Marvel films. I loved the comedy from Michael Pena's character in the 1st 2 films, but the jokes feel flat when its all surrounded in CGI. Probably the biggest issue with the film is that it's pretty much entirely set in the Quantum Realm which demands so much CGI, compared to the grounded setting of San Francisco in the previous films.

Most of the jokes fall flat the second time round. Majors and Kang was the best bit about it, even second time round.

Maybe 7.5/10. Not as good as the 1st by a long shot (which I think I gave an 8) but saved by Kang from being an even lower score.

No idea what they will do with Majors' role now (He's already filmed Loki Season 2, which surely will be delayed).

How is this on Apple TV to buy but not Disney+ (as far as I can see)?
Disney+ and HBO Max are not making as much money as they thought, post pandemic. So I think the big movies being on their streaming platforms within 30-90 days is over.

I think big films will now go back to the usual cinema>VOD>BD>D+/Max to maximise revenue (same with Avatar and Shazam most recently).

Well that wasn't very good :(

Paul Rudd is still awesome, but we are meant to believe that there is a full civilisation in the Realm, something which we have never seen before and also that Janet was a terrorist/freedom fighter for 30 years, but never once mentioned this when out of the Realm or maybe thought it was a good idea to mention this when they went back in? GTFO. Oh and she was boinking people because she had 'needs'.

It was a movie we didn't need.

And wtf:
