Been on adsl24 for a year, no complaints but BT removed their activation date for ADSL2+ for my exchange and I can't be bothered waiting any longer. I'm a slave to speed.
I'm also a slave to speed and I migrated to O2 for exactly the same reason i.e. I have no WBC enablement date at my exchange now and it was due to be upgraded in May 2009.
I was with Zen.
Speaking of which, my line is 2.6km as the crow flies, attenuation of 56 dB. I can push my connection to 3mb. Think I'll see much difference? (I was only able to select up to 8mb when I signed up.)
You are only able to select up to 8 Mb because that's all your line can handle and it was the same for me
My attenuation before I went on to ADSL2+ used to be 55 dB and this has now risen to 57.5 dB but I have gained around 1 Mb in downstream speed and my upstream speed has more than doubled
When I first migrated to O2, I was on a 4676 sync but this may have been too high and my connection must have dropped and so O2 have increased my SNR margin to 9 dB and it's stable now.
