Glad to see plently of happy people so far. Could you do me a favour and anyone who's already mailed me and still hasn't heard anything back post back here? I plan on doing a big chase up on Monday.

Thanks

Think i'm in that group. I've emailed and not heard from O2 yet. sitbh @ hotmail etc. cheers

Up and running as of Sunday. Thanks for sorting the discount out zombi3 :)

Also, new line is 20mbit without any tweaking so far :D Far better than any other house I've lived in.

Feriso - I just put yours through now.

Tipsy - My colleague just did yours for me (he hadn't done one yet and I wanted to give him the opportunity). I saw him do it so I know it's definitely gone through.

Elitetrick - I did yours around half hour ago.

To every one else who's still waiting (Nymins included), I fired off a chaser mail earlier today to find out what's going on and will post back as soon as I know anything.

edit:

The only thing I have that relates to waiting times is out of the FAQ I have access to and that reads as follows:

As soon as I have something better I'll let you know.

I'm genearlly pleased with my o2 connection. We had initial problems with the network connection dropping a lot, but the help desk were excellent. Haven't called them in a while, but I've never had such a good customer support in years :)

@zombi 02 have asked me for an eim number from U??? they said U know what it is so I can setup.

sent an email off to you already

Thanx

Kev!

z0mbi3 - any chance you could chase my set-up, it's been a fair few days and wondered if it's got lost(?) :s

Just thought I'd add my thoughts to this thread, as I've just switched from Virgin to o2.

I originally planned to switch to SkyBB because we already have Sky TV. But after trying to order on the website and over the phone over a 3 day period and got nowhere I decided to try o2.

Signed up on the webiste on a Thursday night, Friday morning the line tests had been done and the router was being sent out. Monday morning the router arrived and now 7 days later, the line is activated.

£7.50 a month, and I didn't have to speak to one human.

10 stars out of 5!

on the note of not speaking to humans, to get my MAC code from zen you just cancel your service online on your customer portal thing, then they emailed my mac code 2 days later. hopefully o2 customer service can live up to zens, although the extra speed alone should be enough to keep me satisified.

Its the O2 Wireless box 2. The problem I have is that when I switch it on it can cycle for 10 minutes before finally connecting; is this part of the 10 days training? Upload is now almost hitting 0.4 which is near max for my connection.
