Any religious people watch the Wonders of Life last night?

JASON, REPLY TO MY REQUEST TO MEET UP FOR A FACE TO FACE DEBATE. Last chance before a lot of evidence of potential trolling gets sent to the mods.

Sorry, but I dont care many timess I've heard the three little pigs story, I'm pretty sure it never happened.

Cant say the same for that other book\story people read and devote Sunday to. People seem to jump head first into that one

You could equally apply that to all the "revealed" religions in place today. And to be honest you've said nothing again, simply thrown up a one liner to draw a reply.

Guys, it's clear now that he is trolling. Trolling in the traditional sense as well. The best thing we can do is individually collate evidence from this and other threads, and send it to the mods to get him banned. He adds nothing to these debates, and makes it a lot harder to have reasonable discussions.

The rate of occurrence must surely be vitally important. The Cambrian fossils show the appearance of animal types suddenly without any of the ancestors that Darwinism claims. This would have required massive amounts of new information. In Darwinism any changes are slow and gradual and as time goes on the changes are larger and more pronounced. The Cambrian record shows the complete opposite.

So where does this new information come from? It seems from this thread that it is simply all about DNA mutations. If you mutate DNA continually, will you ever form something totally new? DNA can build proteins but what controls the building of proteins into larger structures and eventually new organs for example? Darwinism demands a bottom up approach but this has been totally overturned by the Cambrian fossils.

I'm afraid I can't see any other way of approaching the subject of the cambrian explosion, there are elements of it we hadn't fully explain because we haven't enough evidence, maybe one day we will find these fossils, I don't know. However people have raised several points that make your interpretation oif events a little shakey:
>It was still a period of 5-80 million years not instantaneous.
>It was the point where multicelluar life came into abundance, multicelluar life allow creatures to come in many more forms in conjunction with additional mutations than single celled life.
>There are common features between many of the organisms occurring at this point suggesting a common ancestor
> Fossils are rare, first they need to form, then they need to be found and need to survive geological changes to reach this point. On top of this the person who digs up a fossil needs to recognise it's a fossil and not throw it away as another lump of rock. In short there are going to be gaps in the record, the fact is as we have found more over the years these gaps have become smaller and smaller.

Again I have reiterate there are many things we don't know, this is common with a lot of strong scientic theories. Again for example we have a theory of gravity, this has improved over the years, initially with Newtons interpretation and again improved again with gerneral relativity when more information came to light. We still have things about gravity we can't fully explain, eg. why gravity is weaker than the 3 other fundamental forces and how this force is carried. Yet despite this our theory of gravity allows us to put satellites in orbit and predict the motion of celestial bodies. Why do you hold the theory of evolution in less regard than this theory?

In regards to the second part of your post, I'm not entirely sure of what you mean by information in this context, but mutations can increase or decrease the length of a DNA strand, therefor allowing it to contain more information. Yes by continually mutating DNA you can produce something new this is the driving force behind evolution. My knowledge of genetics and biology is poor, but organs aren't just protein, they are made up off tissues that are made up of cells and proteins that exist outside of these cells too. These cells functions are controlled by epigenic, which basically means that certain genes can be turned allowing these cells to speacialise and produce certain types proteins in certain parts of the body. Theres a hell of a lot more to it than this but genetics and cell biology is massive subject.

He's been threatened with a ban before, so I think its pretty obvious they're looking into his behaviour. So I imagine they'll have spotted the fact he's doing the routine again here. But obviously it doesnt hurt to point them in this direction

And the more people that report, the more likely he is to get banned :)

I'm collating my evidence from this thread at the moment.

I've stopped debating on here. The fanatical atheists are like a wild pack of lions. Gang up in numbers to attack the lone deer. They are brutes. Despisers of truth.

You really need to get a life you sad little boy. Go away.

And thankyou for further evidence.

I am willing to have a face to face debate with you on the subject AS YOU HAVE ASKED FOR. And yet you do exactly what you reported us for and resort to personal insults.

So, troll.

Thats not very nice. I can tell you now, I'm not aetheist. Not in the slightest, Been going to a C of E church since I was a child. Although I dont anymore. But even so I can spot a closed minded troll

To be fair most of his posts are unintentionally helpful, by asking questions that I don't normally ask he's made me think about what I've learnt and apply it, there by helping me reinforce my confidence in what knowledge I have and its a bit of mental exercise :D But yes it's definately not a 2 way process, he doesn't seem to gain anything from the discussion but his loss :p

So yeah I agree he's a troll, but even trolls have a silver lining :D
