Which is strange how I'm a games design student. I've tried pleading my case but no such luck.
Reason I ask is that the upcoming IL2 Cliffs of Dover is to use the steam platform and has caused a huge amount of negative feedback from many people saying that they will not purchase now it's running through steam, I was under the obviously mistaken impression that the majority of users were happy to use steam and am quite shocked at the level of vitriol levelled against it

It's about time people stopped talking about buying games on Steam as that's not really a good description. It's more like a long term rental or licensing.
I'm happy that my games are on cloud rather than dozens of discs everywhere
I know it would have been a nightmare re-activating some games and trawling through my emails seeing if I could find usernames/passwords for games that I had to register etc.
