Tesla S is brilliant, no buttons, no clutter, future for me.
Maybe it's a generation thing.
Not mine, but exactly the same. I use the buttons on the steering wheel most the time, the touch screen always means I am about to hit a bump as I go to chose Radio 4 and end up dealing my mum.
the only buttons real cars have are fire extinguisher and nos, then a few switches for preflight checks.

Range Rover interiors are just what Range Rover buyers want, just cos you are BMW FANBOYIS MAXIMIS doesn't mean you need to mention Dynavin in every JLR comment either.
Maybe it's a generation thing.

It's clear where the JLR development money goes and it isn't on the interior. They make products that look absolutely wonderful on the outside and hope nobody notices the inside these days, outside of a few specific examples like the XJ.
i think steam power may be the way to go. horses are just too slow, but with steam power, you are literally rollin' coal and killing maximum polar bears. Also pressure gauges and shoveling coal is much more manly than sitting back in your heated/cooled leather seat, while it feels your aback and you poke your touch screen to change tracks on your Taylor swift album.pah, electric start, bring back the heater bulbs and crank handles i say!
so annoying that i can't change the fuel mix on the go in these modern yokes
