I cut them all out over last year, however the wife keeps having a meltdown when she can't login to Netflix to scroll through the app to "find something to watch". That's what she misses the most. Not the content, the aimless scrolling of the library. I despair.
I literally had to remind her that she can also do that on Prime Video, but ah, the problem there is she finds stuff she wants to watch and then bam, rental price or unavailable.
Oh, and she signs up to Prime for £8.99 because she became so conditioned to that being the default place you buy things from on the internet.
I'm getting burnout from defending her from subscriptions FFS!
Doesn't help that all of the free trails have been used up now, so it feels to her as if I've taken it all away. I have self control so it makes me look like the bad guy. Still, nothing stopping her paying for it herself, but then the value suddenly drops for then surprisingly
