lol just had 36000 CRC errors in small period and it caused a disconnect.

Might not even be the router that's an issue with my line.

Don't think so, here's a screen capture of dsl log on newest firmware:

Your pictures shows 1.0.2.4 when it should show 1.0.2.7 if you on the latest firmware.

mines still showing 1.0.2.4 also, even after a reset.. Maybe I didn't reset correctly, any suggestions?

--edit: Powered off, unplugged dsl cable, held reset for 5 seconds whilst powering on and dsl version now shows correct version number. Plugged dsl cable back in, all good. Noticed I was getting CRC errors in the 1000s in a few minutes after firmware upgrade. Hope this sorted it

It's not on their website yet but you get a warning via the gui admin
interface that you should upgrade for greater stability.
I found it needed a factory reset after the upgrade.
After the reset I found that ESNP is now set to default (which I assume is Stable) and is not settable.
For some reason I have also noticed my SNR Down setting has got better and
gone from around 7db to over 10db

The options are still able to be changed, there a new option: Dynamic Line Adjustment (DSL) which if enabled, manages those settings for you. If you disable this you can adjust them manually still.

Mine is showing as 1.0.2.4 as well and I tried the above and it still shows the same.
This firmware had been running for 8 1/2 hours before I tried this and was definitely different firmware because I ran the whole time with no CRC errors under heavy load.
No previous firmware has done this for me.
I would still like the gui to show the correct version though !

If you dont ming me asking what settings are you using.

I had CRC errors starting to show after the first minute.

Are you on Fastpath or Interleaved?

Cheers

After the reset and getting it to properly show the new dsl firmware, it seems much better.. no crc errors on down.

I'm trying the new Dynamic Line Adjustment setting..

I'm on Fastpath, but my interleave depth is ridiculous at 2745 from all the reboots and testing of different settings lol

Can't seem to get mine to show the latest dsl firmware, powered off, held reset button while powering on for 10 seconds and nothings changed.

I had used default settings all day.
I never changed anything on the previous firmware apart from setting
ESNP to stable.
I have no idea why the gui interface is showing the wrong version of dsl firmware even though I know it was running using the new version.
I have never had a full day with this modem clocking up no CRC errors until this firmware.
I am on fastpath.

Download firmware from Asus website > upgrade > Turn off > unplug power > wait 5 mins > unplug dsl cable > turn on whilst holding reset until power light is solid > once booted up latest firmware was shown.. That's all the steps I did to get latest to show (and it seems to complete the upgrade properly, as the CRC errors are normal now)

Downloaded to the pc and reinstalled from there instead of straight off the internet, factory reset and the correct dsl firmware version shows up fine.
