** AOC Q2770PQU Owners Thread **

Curious. Coming back from the screen sleeping mode (from my computer, not the OSD) I often end up with a 800X600 res and there is no other way to come back to the standard res without switching off/on the monitor.
I had not that with my previous 24" monitor, any idea ?

Are you using display port ?

I am getting a similar thing only my screen doesn't come back on.

I am using DP

My problem is my 7970's only have 2 of the Display Ports on the card. There is only one DVI and one HDMI.

Any suggestions?

Just had one of these delivered for the wife's PC and have to say it is superb!

I am sitting in front of the Q2770PQU at the moment and cannot fault it in any way. It has no dead pixels, no back light bleed and the screen uniformity is perfect to my eye.

The only little niggle is the white balance is on the warm side giving a noticeable yellow tinge to whites.

I will be calibrating the screen with my i1 Display Pro so that should not be an issue going forward.

To sum up a great screen at a great price.

Did you install the driver from the disc, if you did just remove that profile.
I had the very same issue.

Had this monitor a few days now, and so far its great! Input lag is really low, no ghosting whatsoever.

Ive not messed around with the settings yet, just lowered the brightness to 50. Can anyone recommend me any options i could tweak or just leave as is?

On mine I left all settings at default and just dropped the brightness and that gave an excellent picture.

If you want the best image possible calibrate the screen with an x-rite calibrator, it makes a big difference. Out of the box I found my screen a little on the warm side, a slight yellow tint to white and light grays so would have added a little blue to counter this if I did not have the x-rite.

Also note each individual screen will behave slightly differently so using other users settings probably will not benefit you.

I've discovered on problem with this monitor. When I want to see who posted last in a thread on the OcUK forums, by the time I've scanned across to the right side of the display, I'm usually looking at the wrong line :D
